Migratory birds and dogs going crazy at 7:10 EST!! Other weird signs the "big one" might be soon!!
I'm located in mid michigan. Lots of weird signs that something big might be around the corner... At 7:10 EST birds and dogs went nuts!!! Migratory birds, specifically geese ducks and starlings were flying from almost every direction heading mostly to the west. I'm a hunter and I've never seen birds act this way. Small flocks, large flocks and loners of multiple species all flying erratically and in a hurry! It was like some movie about birds going crazy and getting ready to attack or something lol. I will also say that there are no large bodies of water near my home, so I don't believe they were heading to roost.Even being a waterfowl hunter it was a little too early for them to head to the water to roost if there were water near by. About a dozen dogs in the neighborhood went nuts at the same time barking... maybe they were just noticing the birds too who knows. I looked on solarham.com and the magnetometer graph went a little wacky way down the chart around the same time. Weathers been damn cold here too, 15 degrees below average only 25 degrees today... Same day last year it was 85!!! I also noticed some damn weird looking earthquake clouds that some say are a precursor to large EQs. They were the long rolling wave like clouds with an amazing pattern to them, this was about an hour before the birds were flying. Last Thursday there were military gunship choppers flying over the area that appeared to be doing drills or running the same routes and low flying flight paths. Seems a lot of people on GLP are noticing increased military aircraft presence in areas where there usually is not. Between the countless small yet strange animal and weather events, the military training, and don't forget maybe even the ominous date of 3/22 on the clock at the Super Bowl who knows maybe something big is right around the corner?! Could it be the long overdue quake on the west coast or the new madrid? I know my location is very low in seismic activity but if theres a monster somewhere in the US these signs might be regionally observed? Anyone else noticing anything weird like this? My interest is peaked though for sure... keep and eye out and be safe everyone!!

Interesting! I live in New Hampshire, Seacoast area. Yesterday we had a winter storm with lots of heavy, wet snow, sleet, winds. Flocks of red wing blackbirds, purple grackles, starlings were in my backyard. I filled up my bird feeders three times...hardly a seed left on the ground. Today, there were hardly any birds. My dog was very nervous yesterday, but she's afraid of storms. By the way, i used to live in Michigan...great bird watching area.

Yea it's weird for sure right now. Saturday I saw the first robins in my backyard and we got 2 inches of snow on Friday night! Last year this time when it was warm I don't remember seeing nearly as many migrators back this early. Started really noticing them back in the area early last week. Primarily I noticed a bunch of divers (mergansers) which I thought was odd seeing how they need open water to feed... Problem is everything is iced up still! Hundreds of divers alongside geese and ducks were all huddled in a small open spot of the lake north of me a ways. Seems like they are confused right now, for some reason there biological compasses seem off for this time of year.

Any chance you saw the auroras on Sunday morning?? I saw them around 4am pretty good at my place outside Flint. W the light pollution here and our latitude thought it was pretty cool. I've always been into space weather and have seen the northern lights 4 times since oct of 2011 here in flint. I understand were in solar max right now but still waymore than I've noticed in the past, kinda weird they are coming farther South lately.

East coast LI here. Last night and today something just feels off. We had this squall line come through last night that let out one massive flash of lightning and thunder that was real low frequency rumble. It was weird because it was 34 degrees and crystal clear when it came roaring in from the northwest.
I don't know how to explain it but something is most definitely afoot. There is an undercurrent of energy moving around along side the vernal equinox that I haven't felt in awhile.
Thanks for the heads up OP.

Lol, I was just pointing out some odd occurrences lately that have happened here in the Great Lakes region. I never said Hey california get under a desk now!! I do not know what out of the ordinary events are happening in cali nor do I claim to, i based my claims and always do on what i have personally witnessed here in my area where ive noticed odd things not typical in my 30 years. I'm always one to pay attention and most times, not everytime significant regional weather patterns or natural events happen soon after. It always has something to do w some sort of geomagnetic disturbances which seem to cause a terrestrial weather or seismic related event in the region of the disturbance. Not a doomtard or a quake tard, just trying to give a little input and maybe help other people open there eyes to possible events that may be linked. And this is the first time I have ever posted on GLP about anything remotely doom related, thanks for the input. Have fun paying for your overpriced gasoline, and have fun guessing what day your mighty quake will actually occur and your state is no longer part of the continental US. After all you must be wondering... You looked at this thread!

Ps everyone else in Cali is cool except for this jerkoff

Lol that just made me remember a squirrel I had in my back yard last week.. Walked around all disoriented and shit. It may have been hit by a car but the roads pretty far away. It was so out of it when I let the dog out it literally walked right up to her... Where she immediately shook it violently and killed it (she's been trying to get that bastard for 2 years) lol. Either way I didn't know what to think, I even called the vet just to make sure my dog was up to date on her rabies just in case the squirrel was sick or something. Unlikely, but maybe it was disoriented from something else I don't know if squirrels are even affected in that way. I can tell you for sure the fishery around here has been severely fucked up the past 2 seasons though.

Not sure, don't know too much about it honesty. I see A10 warthogs flying to or from there a lot along w some black choppers once. I hunt on 80 acres up there that's about 20 mins from grayling.

Yup, just glad to see that odd things are happening elsewhere and I'm not the only one noticing. A lot of dumbasses out there who never care to take a look or open there eyes to shit that happens everyday around them. Oblivious to the world they live in, kind of scary and sad that so many people don't care about anything around them until its too late.

key words for the Erie, Pa, area:

"something just feels off"

All the birds had begun to come back but it has been a Lake-Effect of snow and stop, snow and stop, snow and stop, and now the temperature is dropping, and the snow isnot so snow and stop, and instead accumulating like it were Winter or something. All the many birds are gone.

I love snow but:
This snow-and-stop-snow-and-stop has been going on for too long and beginning to really really really get on my nerves. Everytime i go to step out the back door i have to sweep the snow off the steps, but now it is i have to shovel that white sht off my steps.

I think this guy is a little jealous and angry that's all. I mean come on, i would hold a grudge too if i had to make a conscious decision on whether to elect Arnold Schwartzinegger or Gary Coleman to govern my state... Poor guy. Wouldn't you be a nervous wreck too if every day that you woke up you had to worry about either a earthquake, tsunami, mudslide or forest fire wiping your town off the map? He can't even take a dip to cool off in the ocean without worrying about a shark attack, a freak jellyfish swarm, or possible physical disfigurement from unsafe levels of radiation that the Fukushima nuclear facility graciously donated. And shit, I'd be a basketcase if my next door neighbors happened to be N.Korea, China, and Russia... In my neck of the woods an altercation with the neighbor results in a flaming bag of dogshit on the porch, his neighbors drop WMD's!! If it wasn't for this shill it wouldn't have made me realize that Flint, MI isn't the most dangerous city in the US, it's one of the fucking safest!!
