I know that Bin-Laden's family was supported by the US and in particular the Bush's for years. I know that Bush would do ANYTHING to get a war going in Iraq. I know that Bush was "warned" about it. I know that Cheney was CEO of Halliburton and still owned millions in stock and Halliburton was the single biggest beneficiary of both wars. Do I think there were powerful people in the US that knew about it before hand? Yep. Do I think they set something in motion, yep. Do I think that even if none of the above is true - it was still "allowed" to happen, sure. Do I pass your test? I admit I don't know all the factual details but I know the important ones, it happened, they knew about it, and it got the results needed, period.

Again, that one actually changed the world, it got the results wanted, we are still living in the "post 9/11" world, when the powerful conspire, they go big, but more than anything. . . they get results.

Anyone here not offened by the orchestrated financial meltdown 4 weeks before the national election in 2008? That one got them $800B ON TOP OF the money they made crashing it which is easily triple the $800B which was YOUR money and it went to bail out wall street bankers. Four weeks before the election - talk about picking your timing! Oh, BTW - why if this was about taking our guns was this done AFTER the election and not 4 weeks before, when it actually might have resulted in laws changing and pro-gun pols losing????

If ONE person here has had ANYTHING change with respect to their guns b/c of this please tell me, one thing! My neighbor is terrified that his son will die in Iran, my house is worth 1/3 what it was 5 years ago, gas will go to over $4/gallon again this summer, the Kochs are writing laws ensuring big business and insurance companies don't have to face you in court. . . if the real powera want something, they get it.

I spoke to an Officer with the CT detachment today who didn't want to be identified for his families sake. He said Adam Lanza was murdered along with his mother. The shooters destroyed Adams hard-drive because it contained information that could implicate MOB bosses and the organized crime syndicate that they worked for. It also implicated some Police Officers. Then Adam's body was hauled to the school where the shooting rampage began. Adams body was left there by the real shooters to make it look like Adam was the perpetrator of the crime. We have pictures of the other two shooters holding a gun to one of the teachers head and we have a recording of the conversation the two shooters had the day before where they were planning the whole thing. This was panned carefully and took months for them to work out all the details of their sickening crime. Then the Officer broke down as he described what he saw when he walked in the school....

Interesting that whole list thing as some of the children that were shot didn't even live in Newtown until right before the shooting. If they were on the list then maybe this actually wasn't thought out by Lanza.

yes, yes they are. i can not think of any games that that happens. maybe board games, but not console or cpu games. and as a gamer, this whole gamers code thing, crap. there is a gaming code, etiquette if you will, when playing online against opponents, but to try and translate that to real life is an insult, to gamers and to the public that they want to believe this. problem is, the public will believe it because they refuse to look any further than surface deep.

I had friends that were first responders to the infamous Patrick Purdy/Stockton schoolyard shooting.

They saw some horrible stuff and I'm sure it affected them in ways, but none of them ever quit there job. As far as I know, none of them ever even took a "PTSD Day Off". Frankly, I think it's BS. This is the only shooting where an Atorney General came to "talk" to the first responders and tell them to keep quiet. I should also note that the same school in Stockton is still open to this day and was not bulldozed down. Keep this in mind whenever the news media mentions Sandy Hook.
