They should have to spend a certain percentage on research or growth of that corporation. If a company doesn't make a profit, the officers should retain only a minimum salary - such as $150K. Board members should only get a nominal payment for their service. Private corporations should have the same type of system only one that works for their particular situation. The government needs to work with other governments/banks around the world to stop the flow and laundering of money through other nations so that they can collect taxes on that money. There should be a flat tax, or better yet, a national sales tax. There are too many people working under the table or cooking their books. Too many small and large businesses are writing off everything and their kitchen sinks while the regular employees of companies have to pay full taxes. That isn't fair. Since China has spent years keeping their currency at lows at the expense of the rest of the world, it's time to step up to the plate and do something about it. Globalization is the great equalizer, yes, but do we want to be equal to Uganda? All corporations do is make the product for less elsewhere and pocket that extra profit and give it to their CEOs and CFFs. We should be taxing imported products at a much higher rate in the market place. That $8 barbie is nonessential and should cost twice that amount. A few tax breaks for items manufactured over here wouldn't hurt, either. Public employees shouldn't be able to work for twenty years and then collect retirement. They should be vested but should not be able to collect until they are at least 65 (67) or whatever the retirement age is for that individual. All these early retirees are killing our budgets. I don't have a huge problem with socialized medical care, but it needs to be done right or not at all. This half-assed Obamacare approach is merely a costly headache for everyone. |

This is distinguished from a recusable obligation, which according to Bouvier, arises from a voluntary act by which one incurs the obligation imposed by the operation of law. The Income Tax succinctly described is an irrecusable obligation. The obligation to make a return of income for using private credit is recognized in law as an irrecusable obligation. The voluntary use of private credit is the condition precedent, which imposes the irrecusable obligation to file a tax return. If private credit is not used or rejected, then the operation of law, which imposes the irrecusable obligation lies dormant and cannot apply. |

Some of you people have historical amnesia. You believe that there was a time when you weren't conspired against by a centuries old society of international bankers...and its just not true. |

Some of you people have historical amnesia. You believe that there was a time when you weren't conspired against by a centuries old society of international bankers...and its just not true. I am sorry, I did really think that in the past we did have a lesser divide between the elite and us slaves, it was closer to equal than it has ever been because people started questioning why we just had to blindly take drugs our godlike doctors prescribed, same with vaccines and we could protest fluoride in water and poll taxes etc. Sometimes we were even allowed to be seen to win over a minor point or another. Churches lost a lot of control and power, I was born in the bit between control by church and tighter (but more surreptitious) control by media. Now if we protest a triple vaccine say, then it gets reworked and suddenly its six shots in one, or at one time. Noticing these small rights being taken away, noticing our friendly bobbies on the beat are almost overnight transformed into nameless faceless jack booted thugs who put eleven bullets into a mans head on a train with little or no repugnance by anyone other than his poor relatives. These things and all the other signs I don't need to list because everyone here knows them, can feel and experience every day, shows me that its very definitely becoming an incredibly callous dictatorship in which my kids only role will be to eat the slow acting poison that is called food, buy as much crap new tech as maxed out credit cards will allow, ostensibly to boost the economy, but really to increase and concentrate the true wealth into ever smaller a % of society. I never wanted a ton of new things, I have always questioned the logic of an armful of mercury in our shots. I have never understood the constant media fuelled keep up with the Jones attitude that almost everyone has. It makes no sense to me. I would rather be with family and friends over earning cash to pay for stuff the tv says I absolutely must have. These are my personal fears, which I have had all my life, its just the last decade I added it all up and the total was oh dear we really are in trouble now. Then my eyes were opened to so much more |

Want to send a message to Washington? When you file your taxes this year, just put down 'n*g*r' for your occupation. If enough people did that, imagine how it would mess with their statistics. There may be a few doctors, lawyers, whatever, but I bet a good percentage of people in this country would fit into the above category (and I'm not talking color here, I'm talking about wages earned compared to the time and effort needed to earn those wages - in other words - slave labor). |

(OP) User ID: 9065595 United Kingdom 03/17/2013 12:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Whats wrong with being a peasant? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 36342867 What do you really need from this life that a peasant cant get? I will tell you some of what being a peasant means. You have no freedoms, you are not allowed to decide what you eat or even if you eat, more than barely enough to keep you able to go to your factory job where the Prozac you are force fed with your flu jab and fluoridated water You cannot leave your country to go live elsewhere without your governments permission which you won't get because it owns you and all you think you own and earn. You have no human rights at all, you can be locked up with no trial, for nothing at all. For this you must be eternally grateful and grovel and give thanks to your lords and masters. You have to do as you are told, whether it be wail and cry and scream because one of your lords and masters have died or be taken away in the night and be offed. Or join an army you don't want to join to be trained to blow up women and kids in Countries you don't know existed before in families that never harmed you. Here are a few reasons I don't want to be a peasant, I am sure this list is just the start of a very long list, but am old and blooming knackered today so feel free to add to my list |
