UN says US drone strikes violated Pakistani sovereignty

"US drone strikes in Pakistan violate the country’s sovereignty, the head of a UN team investigating casualties said after a secret research trip. According to the UN, the Pakistani government has confirmed at least 400 civilian deaths by US drones."

Just saw this breaking on RT over my morning coffee. Not sure, but is this not extreme human rights violations on our part if this is true? Confirmed 400 civilian deaths at the hands of US drones? Seems outrageous and will be interesting to watch what comes of this I think. Will see if more info at other news sites.


Edit, yep CNN and the idiotic thing there is "Some Pashtun men dress the same as Taliban members from the same region, hence the drone operators mistake them for terror targets, (a statement fromt he UN said" really? I mean if your going to annialate someone out of the sky by remote control, shouldn't you have a way to be sure who it is your taking out?
