Re: Proof That Roman Catholicism Is Witchcraft
Let's get even more specific. One of the 3 wise men gave the gift of frankincense (incense) to our Saviour when he was born. Obviously, it is IMPORTANT in the Christian religion.

Um, the three wisemen is NOT in the bible. You don't know the bible.

They went into the house, and when they saw the child with his mother Mary, they knelt down and worshiped him. They brought out their gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, and presented them to him.

Again, the THREE wisemen is not in the BIBLE. Neither is Jesus being visited in a stable as many think.

Our sense of smell brings up past reminders. It is a six sense. Jesus came to do away with mens errors, he came to die so he could remarry. God has a rule you can't marry unless the spouse dies...but that is another story.

The wisemen or Magi were in fact expert astrologers. Even though the Christian faith professes astrology is evil and condemns it, the VERY PEOPLE that brought Jesus his gifts on their camels (in the dead of winter), were practitioners of astrology and magic. It is suspected that the "Star of Bethlehem" was actually a planetary conjunction (which would explain why this "star" was so bright and could be followed. If the story of the Magi IS true (which to Christians it MUST be because it's in the Bible) then it must also be acknowledged that these 3 individuals were "stargazers" and astrologers. Of course will Christians recognize that is the question.

"Wise-men" = astrologers/intellectuals/SCIENTISTS
(you know like Nostradamus). Who they also claim as evil.

Interesting.

Re: Proof That Roman Catholicism Is Witchcraft
Well, as someone who will be coming into the Catholic church in a few weeks, I was all set to argue against your post, but when I read what you wrote, I kind of agree. Not that the RCA practices Witchcraft, but that the elements of worship are similar to those employed by witches, black magicians, etc. HOWEVER, the RCC employs these traditions and rituals to evoke the power of Christ - as an antidote to evil. This I fully embrace, and it is why I keep saying that the Catholic Church is our only hope for the future and why it is so under attack.

What do Satanists do? They drink sacrificial blood. What do Catholics do? They eat the body and drink the blood of Christ - which cleanses them of sin and makes them more Christ-like. Christ ordered his disciples to eat his body and drink his blood in John 6. It was so offensive a prospect that many turned away from him and left. But when Jesus asked St. Peter if he was going to also leave, St. Peter said, 'To where shall we go?'

Christ is the answer - the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Don't you think it's more likely that that story was communicated as a form of astrotheology? We know a star in the sky cannot lead anyone to a specific point on the Earth. Back then they would personify celestial bodies. 3 Kings / 3 Wise men / 3 Magi's = 3 stars of Orion's belt which point to the star Sirius. Re: Proof That Roman Catholicism Is Witchcraft
To undo the good work of Paul in Rome, a counterfeit Christianity is created. By secretly creating and controlling it, the enemy of Christ could besmirch the name of Jesus throughout the centuries while placing the blame on "Christians" (ie crusades, inquisitions, persecutions and witchhunts)

Babylon, not Catholicism, is the actual "mother of Harlots"..it's Cabala is the source of the contamination into other beliefs. When Hislop exposed Catholicism as Babylonian, he didn't know that post-captivity Judaism was, and is, in fact, the old religion of Babylon.

In the 1800's bring in a rapture myth created by a Scottish cult that's based fully on "Jews" being the chosen people, (somebody must repent after the "protestants" float off.) With this, Babylonic infiltration and control secures the Protestants. (the "new" lost sheep of Israel)

The only "Simon Peter" in ancient Rome was Simon the sorcerer..father of gnosticism and chief sorcerer to Nero. He was known in Rome as Father Simon or in Latin, Simon "Pater".

Re: Proof That Roman Catholicism Is Witchcraft
Doc Marquee has also written a book, which is being published by American Focus Publishing Company, entitled "Secrets of the Illuminati". While this topic has been explored before, no author has been able to bring a truly occultic angle to the discussion. In other words, Marquee looks at the plan to bring in the New World Order from the viewpoint of a former witch. In his book, Marquee includes a chapter entitled, "Is It Catholicism Or Witchcraft?" At the beginning of this chapter, Marquee makes a quite startling statement, "I must emphatically state that Catholicism and witchcraft are one and the same...there is no difference between witchcraft and Catholicism." Then, Marquee examines Catholicism and witchcraft from the vantage point of a former witch.

Marquee identifies several critically important areas in which the practice of Roman Catholicism and witchcraft are identical. We will first list these areas of commonalty and then comment specifically upon them. These common areas are:

The altar
The golden goblet known as a chalice.
Colored candles used in services
The use of incense.
The use of bells in the ceremony.
Praying to statues.
The use of Latin in services.
The use of a golden scepter in giving a large blessing to the people.
Common belief in Purgatory
The common belief in the host.
Common belief in the five elements.
Now, let us examine each of these areas of commonalty:

1. The altar in every Catholic church is prominently positioned at the front of the church. The "Mysteries of the Mass" are celebrated on and around the altar. In witchcraft, also, the altar is similarly used for three purposes:
To practice certain metaphysical rites, such as the casting of certain spells or to honor occult deities.
To hold the tools of magic.
To perform human sacrifice.
The Roman Catholic altar also holds their tools of their magic, and they daily perform human sacrifice. Remember, we are looking at this subject through the eyes of a former high-level witch who is now a born-again Christian. This daily human sacrifice is performed according to the false belief in "transubstantiation", the belief that the priest magically transforms the wafer into Jesus' body and the wine into His blood. Marquee states, "In other words, every day Christ is being reincarnated and then sacrificed.. they perform daily their human sacrifice in which Christ is ...sacrificed for their sins." It is shocking to realize that the Roman Catholics are daily performing human sacrifice in a manner similar to that of witches throughout the centuries.

2. The Catholic Golden Goblet, or Chalice. "It is this cup that the wine poured into it becomes the...literal blood of Christ. When a witch does a human sacrifice, after the victim's throat is sliced open, the spilled blood will be collected in a chalice, just as the Catholics do, except the witch's chalice holds the real thing." In Satan's eyes, the Catholics are performing the same rite as the witches.

3. "Candles were introduced to the Catholic mass about 320 A.D. There is no Scriptural reasons for them, unless... you are a practicing witch. Below is a list of different colored candles a witch would use throughout the year. See if you can recall any of these colors used during a Catholic mass:
White -- Purity, Truth, Sincerity
Red -- Strength, Health, Vigor, Sexual Love
Light Blue -- Tranquillity, Understanding, Patience
Dark Blue -- Impulsiveness, Depression, Change
Green -- Finance, Fertility, Luck
Gold/Yellow -- Persuasion, Charm, Confidence
Brown -- Hesitation, Uncertainty
Pink -- Honor, Love, Morality
Black -- Evil, Loss, Discord, Confusion
Purple -- Tension, Ambition, Power
Silver-Gray -- Cancellation, Stalemate
Orange -- Encouragement, Stimulation
Greenish-Yellow -- Sickness, Anger, Jealousy
"Using these colored candles and the right spells, a witch can cause anything to happen...our Catholic friends are not only using these occult tools, they also pay for them when they go to various statues and light...candles."

4. "Incense is a constant tool that is used by priests. They will take a philter (incense burner), walk around the altar, and then wave it out toward the crowd with an invocation...Not only do witches use incense, but they will consecrate their altar and their fellow witches in the exact way the Catholics do..."

What confuses me though is how supposedly all the OTHER churches came from the Catholic Church at a later date.
 Quoting: CeeLite

Time to stop being confused then!

"The Orthodox Church is the one Church founded by Jesus Christ and his apostles, begun at the day of Pentecost with the descent of the Holy Spirit in the year 33 A.D. It is also known (especially in the contemporary West) as the Eastern Orthodox Church or the Greek Orthodox Church." [link to orthodoxwiki.org]

The Roman Catholic Church split off from the Orthodox Church in 1054, when the RCC wanted everybody to accept the changes they made, but the Orthodox refused. This was called the "Great Schism" or the "East-West Schism".

The Orthodox Church still exists, and still does the same things the same way as they have done from the founding of the church.

Then Martin Luther (father of the Lutheran church) came around and began the protestant churches. Some of his writings are lets say, controversial.

The bible that christians, even born again ones like yourself, read CAME from the catholic church.

If you read the bible it talks of incense, sacrifice, altars, chalice, etc... Jesus himself said the cup is to drink his blood. Not sure why you're trying to distort the truth and attack the catholic church, but your libelous statements are actually attacking christianity, the bible and the very instructions from Jesus Christ HIMSELF. Does it invoke the spirit, YEAH..the HOLY SPIRIT!

Instead of reading Doc Marquee you should actually READ the bible before making these outlandish statements. Then you will realize how ridiculous your accusations sound.

Re: Proof That Roman Catholicism Is Witchcraft
If 100% of what you're saying is true, then there's nothing wrong with it. Witchcraft is just as valid as any other religion out there.

It means that folks have been duped. These things have nothing to do with Christ.
 Quoting: TXGal4Truth

They probably have been duped. But, how is this different from any other organized religion?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14157338

Christians do not worship idols...

Christians know that witch craft is just the hopeless playing with words and emotions.
Christ came to correct this with his actions

Christians are also catholic, Catholic is the FIRST christian religion. "christians" as you are void of all mysticism and so you fear what you don't understand. So sad.

Re: Proof That Roman Catholicism Is Witchcraft
Let's get even more specific. One of the 3 wise men gave the gift of frankincense (incense) to our Saviour when he was born. Obviously, it is IMPORTANT in the Christian religion.
 Quoting: kungfukitty88

Um, the three wisemen is NOT in the bible. You don't know the bible.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2378532

They went into the house, and when they saw the child with his mother Mary, they knelt down and worshiped him. They brought out their gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, and presented them to him.

Incense was used in the Old Testament...
Also I guess any long object can be called a "wand" (?) at the same time "wands" are not used to spread water over people lol (or anything)

I just want to add that while some of that article is a huge stretch, it is supposedly true that at some point ASPECTS were mixed but NOT with witchcraft, but PAGANISM, WHICH EXISTED BEFORE NEW TESTAMENT TIMES and probably since the beginning of history.

Just because ASPECTS are SHARED (like candles etc) doesn't make something good or evil. Ie, Chairs aren't good or evil. THEY JUST ARE. It's how you use them. Ie if you use a chair to harm someone (pro-wrestling style) then a chair can be perceived as "bad."

I grew up being taught aspects of a simliar belief of how "rock and roll is bad", and was forcibly missed out on one of the greatest times in music history. In the end, you can go overboard trying to avoid "evil", and I decided as an older teen to adopt the belief taught by my adopted church (or was it a Christian Rock musicians lyrics? I don't remember anymore...) " so busy doing the "do's
you dont have time for the "don'ts"
.... At any rate:)

Christianity is nothing but Jewish Communism. Now why would anyone want to be a communist? Because they cannot control their own life and need others to? Whether it is spiritual beings or popes or leaders, it is sheepdom. Make your own destiny.
