Nobody cares much about the civilians. The NK leadership will make sure they are inside Chinese territory when the EMP kicks off. The NK military will emerge from their bunkers and attack Japan and SK and do China's bidding there too. |

I am an engineer and this original post is utter horseshit. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4623666 EMP is not a credible threat. Period. I am an electrical engineer, and EMP is quite possible with a large enough single-stage nuke detonated at least 10 miles in the air. Multi-stage hydrogen bombs don't work as well even though they have greater yield. That is because after the primary fission stage goes off, the excited electrons form an electromagnetically opaque shield that prevents the secondary from breaking even more electrons free. Also, you want the bomb casing as thin as possible to release the most Gamma rays possible in the first nanosecond or so. |

Some of us are still looking for any real information about sheilding and size limitation. obviously thick copper works but design optimization and potential for intetnal induction and q factors are not clear |

It will never happen folks, it would be suicide for lil kim. As soon as our nuke subs get the teletype NK would get bombed so much lava will start seeping out of the 6 mile deep crater. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71270071 You fail to grasp that elites expect robotics and preplanning and strategic storage for their survival will provide for them IF the general public can be manipulated into extermination, the elites will be well, provisioned for for years if necessary, not so the public who either be left to die out on their own or killed after being collected into some version of concentration facilities. At this point in time the relative minority of elites cannot directly kill off their populations without fear of reprisal so they pretend they are tge targets but they will be protected because you all are the real target. Emp will leave an empty world without radioactivity as long as the nuck plants are shut down. |

Good info. What they fail to mention though are the EMP shielded, heavy alloy, orbital bombardment satellites that would reign down unstoppable wrath upon the perpetrator. Should anyone be foolish enough to attempt such shenanigans. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17938575 Not to mention the 2nd strike capabilities of the ohio class subs. |

Not to mention the nsa cia will without a doubt in my mind have highly trained military remote viewers, that still operate today. They would have detected if the nk satellite was an EMP or if they were working on EMP weapons. If so the satellite would have been shot out of the sky a long time ago. |
