I lived in Dallas and was only a few miles when this killing occured. I was in middle school and there was mass chaos and unbelief at my school with teachers crying and leaving. One teacher brought in his tv and we all watched walter Kronkite of CBS news cover the story from initial shooting to Parkland Hospital death in the emergency room.
It was Texas law for the coroner to give an autopsy, but the secret service refused and didn't want any accurate autopsy of the cranial and brain dammage. The secret service basically body blocked the coroner and sheriff and demanded they get out of the way. President Kennedy's body was then whisked away to air Force One. It was there that Judge Sarah T. Hughes gave the VP Johnson his oath of office.

Johnson held up the flight under the guise of waiting for the judge. In actuality, he needed to get Jackie away from the casket so that the Secret Service could slip the body out of the casket into a body bag.

Once they had the body out, they were able to pull off a shell game once they landed and purloined the body and have military docs perform a scavenger hunt inside JFK's brain to remove the forensic evidence of the bullet's path prior to the official autopsy.

I was in the eighth grade. We also saw some of Walter Cronkite's coverage. Then we were sent to a PE class, but the teacher was too broken up over the unfolding events to continue. Class was called early, and we were sent to the buses.

There was more to it than that. Besides the FED It also involved the CIA and the military industrial complex, LBJ (he had his own plan for America and JFK was in the way) and a few more.

Kennedy was basically trying to change America for the better and he pissed a lot of people off. So now we have a guy changing for the worse and nothing happens - LOL. Just goes to show what the plan is since the 50's.

Supposedly JFK was shot by the driver of the limo with a high tech high powered air pistol with a pellet that contained shell fish toxin.

That was one of the shots fired with several others and supposedly why the brain was removed.
