"Cool It"... Bjorn Lmoborg's book and movie, A skeptical yet logical response to "An Inconvenient Truth"
A talk in VC led me to start this thread, I was surprised at how few people knew of this man and his work.

He basically makes Al Gore and an Inconvenient Truth look retarded, as well as all of the conventions and political ideas countries have had about battling global warming.

Just to be clear, he does not refute global warming, rather he looks into what is causing it, what is being done about it, and how much money is being spent and what the outcome of all of this current funding will be. He then proceeds with ideas of how much less money could be used to have much greater results, leaving lots of money left over to fix other global issues such as hunger, disease, water problems, education, etc.

I have provided some links and reviews about his work.

I believe his movie, which in my opinion is one of the greatest environmental documentaries ever, is still on net flix, but can also probably be found online as well. If you aren't planning on reading the book, I would at least recommend watching the movie, it is more than worth it.

Also, if anyone would like to discuss this material, or Al Gore's views, etc, I'd love too : ) hahah

But I really recommend people at least watch the video, they will have their eyes opened, especially if they actually thought they had their eyes opened from Gore's film.

Thanks for the bump!

I cannot believe no one has seen this, or commented on it.

Now if you do your research you will see that not all of his number are perfect either, but they are more scientifically correct than those in Al Douche's film, and not only the science but the logic in Bjourn's is sooo much more sound.
