They expect you to just stand there and watch someone die rather than break some ridiculous rule to save a life. This reminds me of the news story about the girl who got suspended from school for saving her friend's life. She and her friend both had asthma and both used the exact same medicine. The friend had a very, very, very severe asthma attack at school on a day when she'd forgotten her inhaler, so the other girl allowed her friend to borrow her inhaler. That's just using common sense, right? Well, she got in big trouble for it.
