The problem with Iran is religion. You guys on the other hand, despite sharing the Abrahamic faith, have had your own Reformation with the rise of Marxist objectivity and your own secular classes. This is an essential precursor to Iran assuming a global pre-eminence. That combined with the fact that the Arab Empire is multi-ethnic would make them a real contender for global status, alongside Britain. Of course, were they to also acquire a robust partner in their own version of a United States, then the stage is set for the sort of competition we saw in the Cold War. However, this is not about Israel. You are the key Iran is using to assume the reins of the Arab Empire. They have bigger fish to fry. Of course, as I said, their major obstacle is Islam which dominates their thinking, for the moment. But the tactics they are assuming suggests that they are thinking big. Lets watch this development and see where it leads. I can't see them overcoming the cultic effects of Islam, having said all I have, however.
