Just look at a map. It's obvious how important that area is for world shipping so it's no surprise that militaries all over the world patrol there. Thats the whole reasons the pirates thrive there also. But instead of blaming those causing and taking advantage of the situation, we blame the people that are a result of the inhumane system just trying to survive and see their loved-ones survive.
