No. You're substituting one addiction or habit for another.

All they have is nicotine in them. Its like Nic Gum.

They don't have all the pesticides that tobacco does, nor the added chems to distinguish brands, also they don't produce carcinogens which is normally caused by the paper and plant bulk burning.

They are a million times better than cigs but they don't have the same buzz. I had one and used it for a while when they first got OKd for production and I constantly kept craving a cig which leads me to believe that the nicotine itself in a cigarette isn't the most addictive thing.

You have to focus on the habit being broken. Is the reason for quitting to not inhale smoke and toxins, then who cares if she smokes an ecig.

If for some odd reason quitting amoking has more to do with wasted time, then her replacment with an ecig is a failure.

Dude. She's doing the healthy thing by stopping smoking real cigs. Give it a rest and dont worry about it. I smoked for two years and switched over to an e cig about a year ago. Best decision I made. I have asthma so I was worried about my lungs and heart. Now I don't have to worry because it's just water vapor and nicotine. It's the healthlier choice

Even if she does seem to use it more often at least she kicked the habit. These are made to replace and hopefully eventually ween yourself off of real cigs. They don't work for everyone though. My buddy introduced me to e cigs. He has one yet continues to smoke real cigs everyday. Heavily.

I don't hang out with smokers - they aggravate my lungs - so I'm not familiar with the ecigs.

Just think of it as a step. She is takin the first step to being smoke free. There are other addictive chemicls in cigarettes not just nicotine. So probably her body i craving that and so she mokes the ecig to passify that. Because o that she will use the cig more.

E cigs don't. You can smell the e smoke vapor depending on the flavor if you are in the room next to a smoker. But there is no "second hand smoke" from the vapor.

Also, nicotine is a stimulant. Just like caffeine.

I guess it is plausible that you could inhale the second hand nicotine. But by the time someone exhales it most of not all of the nicotine is absorbed by the user.

Vapor. Only the smell. Sometimes she doesn't like the "tobacco flavor" smell when I use that flavor. But she does enjoy the cranberry liquid I use. Sort of smells like cotton candy when it is exhaled. Mind you there are tons and tons of flavors you can buy. I have about 5 or 6 flavors I rotate around to keep things different.

I "e-smoke", and the stuff I use has zero nic in it. I just love the visuals of smoking, but quit cigs a long time ago. During a very stressful period of my life, I wanted to smoke again, but knew I really shouldn't, so started using an e cig. You can "smoke" them without nicotine, so it's just vapor.

they make nicotine free kinds. I know this for a fact because I use them from time to time. Unless you're coming off of the nicotine, you're still addicted to the drug.

Lucky for me though, I just have the habit of smoking, not the addiction to any of the chemicals.

I just quit smoking two weeks ago...again. I smoked from 13-24, quit cold turkey til I was 37, started again during my divorce and am now almost 40 and quit cold turkey again...no problems.

Smoking an ecig is one of the most retarded things I've ever witnessed. You look like even more of a weak-willed idiot walking around puffing on a fake cigarette. Especially when we have no idea exactly what it is that is put in them.

With an e-cig you have full control over the nicotine level. Great tool for weening yourself off.

The only reason people want to break the habit is because of health risks and hygiene.
