People here always say that they are trying to take away our constitutions. It's not true. That might be true in other countries but in America we have freedom. I know this is a conspiracy sight, but c'mon people use logic!

THE Conventions of a number of the States, having at the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added: And as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government, will best ensure the beneficent ends of its institution.

- The Preamble to the Bill of Rights

they knew this would happen.

Repeal the 17th Amendment and the Reapportionment Act of 1929!

Thread: First steps down the road to a return to the Constitutional Republic that we were intended to be.

Restore the Republic.

Thread: The Bill of Rights does NOT include age requirements!

It's a flower, not something to be feared.

Sure looked that way the other night when Piss Morgan slammed the constitution down on a table and called it a "little book" with a smirk on his face.

When the government imposes restrictions on law abiding citizens that directly go against what the{our} constitution states, then YES, the government is out to strip away our constitutional rights.

The 2nd amendment was NOT enacted to ensure people have guns for sport hunting. It was enacted for the very specific and significant reason of preventing Government from overstepping their bounds. Americans have the right to bear arms to prevent the very thing that our government is trying to do. By placing restrictions on non criminals DICTATING what guns/ammo/accessories they are allowed to use or KEEP is doing exactly what the second amendment is put in place to prevent. THIS IS A DIRECT ATTACK ON THE CORE OF OUR SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHT.

Re: Will people stop saying that they're trying to undo the constitution?
What the government is seeking to do is unconstitutional. Non criminals are allowed to own whatever guns they like to defend not only themselves and thier families, but also the constitution from powers seeking to change it. The government would like to say they can change the tone of the second amendment to suit their own agenda and by doing so, make NON criminals into criminals overnight. The real crime is the abuse and overstepping of the powers GRANTED to them by us the people. Making non constitutional laws to support their agenda does not automatically make a gun owner who does not comply a criminal, although, this is how it is meant to be perceived. True patriots have already figured this out and only time will tell what the outcome of this government treachery will bring.
