To much shit happening around us It feels like we are in a Depression just like the 20s "Only one candle left to burn now, before the darkness comes" "Happiness consumes itself like a flame. It cannot burn for ever, it must go out, and the presentiment of its end destroys it at its very peak." "But what is Hope? People who procrastinate find the task undesirable because they see it as a long list of things to do. When you find something is desirable you shorten your list. example, cooking: undesirable- get dressed, go outside, get in car, get groceries, pay for groceries, get back in car come home.. etc. desirable- go to store, get groceries, make delicious food, eat delicious food. By seeing tasks as such a long list, they get distracted and do other things. Considering that our level of comfort is enhanced by technology it's easy to find simple tasks as undesirable and to move on to other more fun things such as the internet etc. |

Quoting: nope 26734329 I've made small improvements I wanted to try to get a group discussion going and I planned to chime in now and then. For me I've noticed organization is a huuuuuge factor. When things are messy I don't care to do anything at all. Its a downward spiral. You don't even want company to come over because it is embarrassing. I think one of the keys is organization. I'm not motivated to get up and start my day when my clothes are a mess and I have to dig through them for an hour to find something to wear. When I want to work on a project and all my stuff is all scattered I get so exhausted looking for what I want to work on I wind up losing all my creativity. If the kitchen is a mess I don't want to make myself something to eat I'll look for a quick unhealthy prepackaged snack and I let things pile up. This leads me towards wanting to adopt kind of a minimalist mindset. If you haven't used or worn something in a year or more sell it or give it away. I stay under there until I adjust and it's not that cold. I feel really energized. Hot showers make me sleepy!
