What do men seek in woman?

Sure, I'll play. I'm 42, that's close enough I think.

What I seek in a partner is just that, a PARTNER. Like I said to my fiance before we ended up splitting up was pretty to the point:

"I'll be the engine that drives us, you steer the wheel to get us there!"

As for attributes, sure I would want my partner to be attractive to me. This is true for anyone. They don't have to be something everyone else sees as "hot", just so long as *I* find her attractive, then the physical love will never die. As for personality attributes, I would love to find a woman that carries herself with grace and dignity. Someone that almost glows with her pride and wisdom.

I feel that a woman should allow the man to take the lead, but be strong enough to verbally slap the hell out of him in private if he's gotten out of line.

A true partner.

[Why would they want to deal with it? They're told from birth that since they have a penis, they're stupid, worthless, have nothing to offer etc etc. Even if they're not told directly, just look at any TV sitcom. The husband is always some drooling moron that needs to drop to his knees and worship the brilliant goddess he is lucky to have around to think for him.

Oh and I think that what a guy is looking for just depends on the guy. Some guys want a companion, some guys want a trophy, some guys want a cook and housekeeper, others may just want a warm body, still others may just want someone to tell them they love them every now and then, and still others are looking for their mommies... the list goes on and on.

Where do you guys go to meet a woman? Okay, wait maybe I should say are any of you seeking someone special to possible start a life with? If you are, where do you go to meet?

I hope to meet one through a shared interest...for instance, if I'm doing something very important in the world, it's likely I will meet my dream girl there. Because she will be one that's doing very important things as well, instead of going to the bar or club on the weekends and wasting her life. What is the point of life? To help others, to live in line with our conscience, to improve ourselves (these are some of my answers)...my girl will be doing these things. I can't be with someone who isn't similar to me in this sense.

I haven't gone to church in a long time, but when I reach the age of 30, if I'm still single I will start going. Because that's a place where they will most likely have some inner qualities.

Speaking of church...the book of Proverbs in the bible has some of the best ideas on how to live life and what men and women should be like. Not trying to push religion, here...just might be something people want to explore. It's totally different from what we're told in modern society, so it's refreshing.

Meanwhile, she has to get the liposuction, electrolysis, breast implants, hair extensions, fake nails and vaginaplasty because absolutely nothing she was born with is right.

Don't know if your into Christianity or not, but try asking God for your s/o. Lots of people look and search and strive to FIND that one special person. Why not ask God, WAIT and let him GIVE to you like the gift it is.

After reading the post today about the chick wanting to get married and a gentleman posted men today want to feel needed and not deal with Fem-Nazis.

I said it was more like men only focus on the beauty of the opposite sex. That men don't care of the personality, character and morals as long as the female "looks good". Then the wonder why the end up with self centered woman who only have the me me me attitude.

So, of the honest men here on this site give us woman some straight answers so that we may understand what it is you seek.

Yes I am a follower of Christ. I never said I was searching for anything. I was just interested in knowing how and what men are looking for. With no jokes. Just a conversation about what you want from a relationship.

Sorry, it's the only defensive mechanism we men are allowed to have in this day and age. Aggression is frowned upon, even when justified. No one responds to logic any longer and we dudes are not real skilled at the "Warm and fuzzy feel good" vernacular we're expected to use.

So, we make jokes to deflect topics when we're uncomfortable. Sure, many will decry this statement thinking it makes them weak to admit it. But that's the truth as best as I understand it.

Break your balls, implies to me that she's honest, direct, brutal, but in a joking or at least constructive way. That's fine. Gentle, okay but not too much...stand up for what's right. Average looking, fine...guys fall in love with physical flaws and quirks, not supermodel looks necessarily. It's unattractive to have a girl that bows to my every whim...might as well just get a maid and have a blow up doll or something, if a guy only wants those things, and not a REALationship.

I personally think men are much more than this, and they would realize it if they didn't accept the fem-nazi propaganda, such as saying they only want women to be their servants. It's a lie.

I know this doesn't pertain to ALL men, but it does seem that most only care about looks...which most seem to prefer skinny blonds with fake boobs.
