I wanted to believe that some sort of change would happen: a new and better way of thinking, no more corporative slavery, first contact with a benevolent alien species and so forth. But I was wrong. I feel deceived. And also sad a bit, thinking that things will go on like this.

But to sum it all up, yes. I admit that I was wrong. OP, I hope you and everybody like you feel happy now knowing that the possibility of something out of the ordinary, something that is higher than the material, something more than just the run of the mill hatred that engulfs us all just took a nose dive.

Well, several reasons. It`s like all my entire life I hoped it`s more to life than just we are expected to believe-it started with them alien docues, 6 years old I was-and you can see how easy it was for me to jump on the bandwagon. Yea, it`s silly. But not to worry, I get it now. It`s just that! Live as long as you can, make money and sacrifice everyone who stands on your path to success. Moral values only apply til money says otherwise.

Now that 11:11 a.m G.M.T has rolled around there has already been a mass posting across the web by the die hard crowd to start changing their dates to either the next 10 or so days or into next year.

Not many of the date changers are acknowledging they where wrong about today's time they have ranted on about for so long and in the rare cases they are kind of admitting they where lied to by "The powers that be" to keep their eyes and mind off of the true date.

There will always be doom-sayers, Most of these people have not very nice lives or they are mentally ill and I personally think it is wrong to laugh and point fingers at people who aren't able to discern reality from fiction and are simply looking for something to cling to to change their current state of failure.

I didn't take the time to read a single reply to your original post, so I don't know if anyone has said this yet, but for over a decade this "December 21, 2012 Mayan Apocalypse" theory has been shoved down our throats, popping up at every turn, as was my experience. Now the MSM is downplaying it big time in an attempt to make those who believe what they were told about the prophecy seem utterly deluded and metally incompetent. It is rather disgusting that you are jumping on the bandwagon making fun of people who's lives have gotten so hard to live that their only hope is to pray for doom to end their suffering...
