Maybe this is a stupid question, but why can't the corps. use this methane gas? I mean, it is a fuel source. Why are they not doing something to extract it and use it? Is it too expensive, too dangerous? I understand the affects to humans if unchecked, which is scary as hell, but you would think there should be a way to stabilize it and make it a useful resource?
