You can see it bubbling up through the water, what about all the gas leaking up through the land? The entire gulf is screwed up beyond repair. This could go at ANYTIME now! All I can think about is Edgar Cayce. This just happens to be happening now, going towards Dec., 21st, and the great awakening. This could be one heck of a ride, get ready to hold on peeps! XOXOXO |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 22355764 United States 12/11/2012 04:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Is this something new? I've been in a few swamps and they ALL smell funky and bubble.... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29163876 Yeah? Well they don't smell like METHANE and they don't have a huge-ass SINKHOLE devouring the land behind them either and those "BUBBLES" you saw were more than like just some turtles or maybe a gator spitting out some air. But I guarantee you you have not been in a swamp which CONSTANTLY SPEWS up un-natural bubbles like this and you KNOW it. The river I used to live on would occasionally release pockets of methane FOR A FEW MINUTES 2 or 3 times A YEAR but it wasn't CONSTANT. I think people are more less pissed because they haven't got their mass doom explosion out of this thing yet. But you will. Sooner or later you will. And I hope a dead exploded BABY lands in your frontyard from this explosion. So you can smell the odorless Methane???? |

I mean, it is a fuel source. Why are they not doing something to extract it and use it? Is it too expensive, too dangerous? I understand the affects to humans if unchecked, which is scary as hell, but you would think there should be a way to stabilize it and make it a useful resource? Please, correct me if I am wrong.... Even if it doesn't kick off the NMSZ it's still going to be bad. Look at the area that just one salt dome covers, then look at the fact that, with rare exception(if any) they are all interconnected deep underground via the Louann Salt Layer. Bad news Boys & Girls, bad news indeed. |

One stray spark could set off that methane and they are boating in it! At one point in the video, she asks will they ever be able to feel safe there again.. will they ever be safe there? I'd say, no, you will not be safe there. There is nothing anyone can do about this either, it's too wide spread. This is leaching everywhere in that bayou. I've also got to wonder how many areas have methane leaching up, that are on land, where no one can see the bubbles.. there would be no sign. The dead fish tell their own story... IT'S NOT SAFE THERE!!!! If these people value the lives of their kids and loved ones, they had better be bugging out. I cannot believe people are still living there. |
