Thats the problem with some of Society. The 21st should not be an excuse for a drunken party. Use it for a time of reflection about whats important. Learn from the experience. Friendship isn't about whom you have known the longest...Its about who walked into your life and said...I am here for you. |

My seal has already been broken. When the equilibrium of the Earth changes you need to stabilize with it. Just a heads up. Some say 21st will be a mindchanger - energies and transcendental entities may tamper with everybody's minds - for good or for bad. So its a good advice not to miss the whole point in mindless consumption or partying or taking down the guard. Staying conscious and not subduing to fear is best. |

My friends and I are tired and see this as a way out of the crazy world where nothing makes sense. Quoting: Renegade (Me too) I have a wife and son I love. I have lots of friends. I love to run, fish, swim, make love, and hike. I love to work, to garden, to build, paint, sketch, and sing. Fuck that! I love life! No matter how topsyturvy! I believe we're being given a choice ... to go or to stay ... subconscious or in the dream state or something, but yet a choice. Can't believe how many people -- young people at that -- want to leave. I'm an old lady but love this Earth and will not go gentle into that good night ... |

Quoting: Elwira Thank you for bringing this up, my little grandson goes to daycare downtown (um let's just say not the safest area) and his parents don't believe in any of this ... I'm racking my brain how to ask them if I can take my grandson for the day without sounding like a crazy GLPer ... Any suggestions people? What can I say to his mom and dad so he can be with me that day? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 29296338 United States 12/09/2012 05:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I probably would have never made a thread about this but, right before I left GLP earlier, I noticed the headlines about Syria, doom planets, quakes.... Quoting: Redpaw360 And I figured I'd just go take a look around the outside world of GLP for news. I'm just not sure where to start about the story. On one hand, it is a global thought of doom and gloom which I swear that Art Bell a long time ago tried out an experiment over the radio... Art Bell had all his listeners focus their thoughts on something ( can't remember exactly what ) and within just a few minutes, the event happened. I listened that night. Now I go out and find a story like this, and I think it is like a global mind projection of sorts... I think I'll join the ranks of just staying low profile during the event, camera ready, BOB ready, etc.... But I'm not going out, these people are going to manifest something crazy. You hit the nail in the head with this one parallel. Are thoughts heed more power then we give them creedence for. If we concentrate on doom and fear we become apart of the collective conciousness and create that reality. If we focus are thoughts on peace and love we become part of that collective conciousness instead and our reality changes to one of harmony. We can live paralell to one or the other depending on where we focus our thoughts. The ones in power want the collective to live in fear because it gives them more control and power over us, hence all the scare in MSN news. |

You could offer to take him to the Zoo or to a museum, etc. But, you should be honest with his parents; you must respect their beliefs, even if they are different from your own. It will not be good if you lie to them; if for no other reason, just think about often this type of scenario goes wrong in end-of-the-world stories. Also, if this doomsday passes without event (just as every preceding doomsday prediction has - [link to en.wikipedia.org] ), will you apologize for being a crazy GLPer? I just wanted to let you guys know that I've begun to upload some never before seen satanic imagery found on the dollar bill as well as other currency. These images can be generated by very simple transformations, and the possibilities of what you can produce may be infinite. I'm pretty sure it's a crazy application of fractal and projective geometry. Seriously mind blowing stuff. At least to me. I'll upload more and give some background and further explanation, at least from my point of view. Check it out and let me know what you think. Let me know if I need to add a link back to it or something. I'm pretty new at this. Thanks! Some 2012 shit, huh? lol |

User ID: 1894576 Canada 12/13/2012 08:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There is half day of school the 21st, But I have decided to keep the kids home. One never knows what might happen, and maybe some freak would go nuts. Seems like people are already going nuts tons of murders on the news lately, as well as murder suicides, and thats just locally look at whats going on all over the place. Quoting: pmb1 You're right. One never knows what might happen. But, that goes for EVERY day of the year. There is nothing to suggest that December 21st is any more or less likely for doom than any other day of the year. If you're going to be prepared for the worst, you should be prepared for the worst on EVERY day. If you're going to breath a sigh of relief on Dec 22 and not worry about doom after that, you shouldn't even bother with worrying about the 21st. |
