I was about to post something about this, I am in Dallas, Texas. The mosquitoes are swarming. We need a good hard freeze to kill em off but it's been 75-80 everyday, also, there has been no rain for months.

I see the forecast for next week they saying slight chance of rain and finally it will get below freezing. By the time we get there the forecast will change. Like a carrot in the distance. I think they do that to keep us sane.

Last week they said 60% chance of rain for today but that didn't happen,

Far from Denver. I know people whose strawberries are blooming. That's not right.

It has been predicted that Eastern Europe will get colder and colder over the decades as the ocean conveyor belt slows due to salinity levels.
Suggest you plan on more of the same in coming decades.

-11 - -14°C here in northern Germany right now. Temperatures aren't expected to change much during the next week, and more snowfall is expected to start on monday. :-/

wow I had no idea, it seems to have snowed everywhere but the southeast more or less, and we even had some unexpected snow can't remember if it was wednesday or thursday morning. But that melted about an hour after it finished falling.

I'm from Maine, ya know, where people claim it's winter year-round. We normally don't reach the low 30s til about now and don't see any permanent snow until the week of or after Christmas so things are good up here. If anything were slightly off I'm sure everyone here would notice it and be talking about it.

Then again we are the #1 in the States as far as abusing/being prescribed drugs so it's not like we wouldn't believe the "all natural explanation." They'd probably claim that the drugs they feed us are messing with our minds and to go back to ice fishing, working, consuming..ya know shit that matters.

It is still Fall until Dec. 21.

The meteorologic winter already began and has always begun on 12/1. Only the calendric winter begins on 21/12.

We're in very late fall. Winter doesn't actually start officially until December 21. It's 45F here and rainy.

It'll change in January and February, probably. Unless we have a repeat of last year's mild weather. I've heard that it could be a really bad winter, or a mild one. Only time will tell.

It got Fukued. Warmer here , farther east colder.

Feels like we have had deep cold winter from the beginning of October this year -4F -20C 8 in. deep snow. Trade ya!
