Because it doesn't exist. There was no Rapture, as history books and records state (as of 3186 AD). The Christian Rapture never happened. And nobody cares or even askes questions about the subject. Just as nobody talks about the Nazi Holocaust, a very shameful chapter in Pre-Transition Terran History.

Now, the Evacuation can be seen as a sort of Rapture, but a person had to pre-qualify first, and then win a slot through a lottery if they were not in the first tier of being selected...150 years in the Orbital City Ships allowed the New Humanity to get an appeciation for their home world, which they assumed at first was totally lost. The reconstruction, replanting, clean-up, and repopulating with animal life and sentient inhabitants, allowed the surviors to create a culturally ingrained sense of custodianship, respect and ecological/ecumenical responsibility as a people living in harmony with all creation and their relations.

Salvation, as offered from the Divine, always begins with self responsibility, choice and action. Not from praying for Daddy and his Son to miraculously save the supplicants from the consequences generated from the abdication of ones power of self responsibility and the power of ones creation.

New Jerulsalem = New Heaven, New Earth.

Your right, no one knows the exact day and hour that our Lord Jesus Christ will return except the Father. Yet at the same time know one knows the day and the hour that they will die and step into eternity. I beileve the real question is, "Will you be ready to meet Jesus tomorrow if you suddenly die unexpectly?" Tomorrow is promised to know man, Therefore prepare to meet thy God!
