Re: 70 Miners trapped in potash mine, Canada
Rescue crews are waiting for a fire to be brought under control before entering a potash mine in southeastern Saskatchewan, where 70 workers have been trapped for more than 15 hours.

Miners at the operation near Esterhazy, about 210 kilometres northeast of Regina, reported smoke almost a kilometre underground at about 3 a.m. CST on Sunday.

yeah, pretty weird all these miners getting stuck, maybe the standards of health and safety are dropping, or there is some serious underground shit going on.

Potash -- does that have anything to do with salt? If these guys get flooded in a salt mine, then that Brian's Predictions guy nailed this one.

I don't think potash is anything to do with salt. It's an ingredient in fertilizer.

Potash is in salt seams.

The potash is separated from salt in the milling process.
