Spiritual Growth
Good article:

"Yeshua never suggested that swearing allegiance to him would admit someone to the Kingdom of God. This is what he said:

“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: metanoia and believe the gospel.” (Mark 1:15 )

The word “metanoia” has been translated as “repent,” but that is a mistaken translation using a word that has grown far from the meaning of the word “metanoia.” It is a combination of ;(after, with) and the verb ; (to perceive, to think, the result of perceiving or observing). Metanoia means "a change of mind". It does not mean “repent” in the sense that I’ve done bad things and I have to confess that I’m an awful person. It means, “I must become a new creature by changing my thought patterns.” Yeshua was saying that those hearing his words must undergo a change of perspective, a transformation of the mind to an entirely new view of themselves, the world, and God. That will result in the kingdom of God. (Maurice Nicoll, The Mark. Vincent Stuart, London, 1954)."

Re: Spiritual Growth
And in gaining new perspectives growth can occur...
Seems a simple enough message! Thanks!

It goes deeper than just gaining insight into the existence of other, new perspectives than the one you currently manifest your life through.

One must break all of the promises to self that the ego has in place to hold on to a perspective in time. All fear, doubt, and want for control need shed.

The Kingdom of God is Life on Earth incarnated through balanced wholeness, to walk a path of divinity within your human temple without placing oneself above or beyond all that one is connected to.

We fear what our perspective cannot accept as but one facet of our own being, we doubt that which the logic of sanity tells us cannot come to be, and we desire that which our perspective tells us is not ours to have.

I think many struggle trying to force what is essentially a natural progression...it's kind of like boating in a river...we can scoot with or against the current based on our whim...we recognize there are other boats out there too with different drivers...with their own whims...

Take time out as a factor and everyone gets there eventually.
