I have a cat that wears a collar, and rabies tag, and he's an indoor cat. But you never know when they might slip out and disappear! Especially when I have guests, they don't seem to get it when I express concern about a door left open! Quoting: Roxi I'm so happy for you!! My Vet did not recommend a collar. She said that it might get caught on something when they are out wandering and they can't get loose. |

Oliver had been returned to us after a neighbor had seen the flyers I posted everywhere. She saw the cat near her house and lured him to her yard with food. Then she returned him to us. Thanks to Dr. Acula and all of you who said kind words and prayers. It has been a week of sadness for us, but seeing our kitty again made it all worth it. OMG! CONGRATULATIONS! |

Cats are crafty and can easily snake out of their collars. I'm sure he'll return soon.. Just leave a bit of food outside your door and some water in a dish. Lots of folks with half indoor/outdoor kitties go adventuring for a few days before coming home to rest. |

Both of them have elastic on them. Only once has it come off, which is good to know so far as him not choking. So far as chipping, OP? It's sounds great, but I seriously doubt many people will run a cat to a vet to see if it's chipped. I also doubt the animal shelter would do the same. I DID do it with a dog that came up on our property, but he wasn't chipped. I also called every vet in the area, along with the classifieds. Anything is better than nothing though. I would be devastated if I lost my four legged family. |

We moved and they decided to explore the new neighborhood. They were gone for about a week, but they finally found their way back home. I have 2 black cats that are sisters, and i love them so much! ‹^› ‹(•¿•)› ‹^› |

Great to here Oliver is okay. I lost my cat, kitty, for 4-5 hours and was feeling pretty bad, turns out she was in one of my dresser drawers! Totally closed it without realizing she was in there. Such a relief to find her! |
