I have about 20 clocks to set manually, the rest are atomic or computers and do it automatically...daylight savings is a good idea in theory, but a major pain in the ass!

Well, Since my oldest son moved out on his own I've let a friend stay in the guest house as they are having marital problems, I have quite a few antique clocks that I really like and then the normal alarm clocks in the bedrooms...clocks are important, otherwise how would we know when the movie starts?

I don't change my clocks any more. Haven't in years. So unless they update themselves ... Just more nonsense they have us do.

I do that with the thermostats...I don't program them to change temperatures, I just keep them at 70 year around...why the hell change it from hour to hour? Time change fucks with my solar too...I have to recalculate power consumption in the fall and winter months and time change is a factor...

I have about 6 to do manually do here, the rest are automatic.

takes less energy if you lower thermostat whilst family is in bed.

Atomic clocks are the greatest, but when I was married she could hear a clock tic from across the damn street and it drove her nuts...but old mechanical winding clocks are just fascinating to me...

Instead of resetting everyone's time, why don't they just push back the time school starts?

Everyone I know hates the time change, and picking kids up at 7:30 in the morning is too damn early.

Make school 8:30 to 4:30. Problem solved!
