Warrior Training - Vivid/Lucid Dreaming
I've always had vivid and lucid dreams, usually 2-3 times a week. And this one was special.

Somewhere, out in the deep woods...there was a training camp.
Somehow, there were people from different eras ...at the peak of their game...ready and willing to train a small handful of students...including myself.

It all happened quickly but the Navy Seal and Native Indian training stands out the most.
Especially the part where I flipped a female native Pocahontas chick over my shoulder to the ground and as she gets up she says "You're ready".

There was a coach watching the whole thing and he kept saying "We don't have much time left...hurry up!".

Honestly, it felt real and creepy.
Sorry for the brain fart.

Is your abdomen flat, your % body fat less than 15, can you run a mile in 6 minutes, and can you bench press 185 more than 5 reps? If so, you may be ready...to start.

Re: Warrior Training - Vivid/Lucid Dreaming
Maybe not the right place to ask, but I'm thinking about asking my docter for Valium, I have an axiety disorder, which often causes depression, major lack of foucs and what I need to do.

Was wondering if anyone has good things to say about taking Valium and if it would help increase my focus on things like art, animation, and learning overall. Usually my mind has too many anxious thoughts going threw it to be able to sit down and give my full attention to what I'm actually trying to accomplish. Depression is a big thing too, it comes and goes with very little warning or reason to be depressed.

I already smoked weed for close to 2 years, maybe 3, I've recently stopped and my tolerance has gotten so slow that it actually is usually worse for my anxiety of depression, seriously one bowl will sometimes give me shakes, compared to being able to smoke all day, everyday. Can't do that anymore because I can't work, and can't afford to smoke up everyday, and I don't get the same creative drive that it use to give me.

Any other suggestions are welcome, biggest thing I need is focus, being able to have my thoughts on the same page as what I am seeing infront of me and not all over the place like usual.

Thanks

Re: Warrior Training - Vivid/Lucid Dreaming
I've had dreams of friends getting hurt and dying and the next day, it happened. One I dreamt was stabbed. Saw him the next day with his arm in a sling. He was stabbed in a fight the night before. I even woke up and yelled "Jimmy Cagney". the next morning I turned on the radio before work and he had passed also.

I don't like dreaming about my friends. (I didn't know James Cagney, but I rented a house from his grand daughter years later)

Re: Warrior Training - Vivid/Lucid Dreaming
I've been "training" for lucid dreaming for two years.

The last one was kinda eye-opening.

I was being led by a doctor and I was a zombie of sort.

Only in that I couldn't speak. During the dream, there was multiple doctors around me. I finally found my voice, but really had to work at it in the LD to pronounce my words right.

We went thru a large underground complex. I ended up speaking somewhat normally, and was in front of a group of doctors.

I can remember them vividly saying "this one has promise, but we just don't know if we have the funding for any more candidates."

I started to protest, and of course I was wheeled away, as I was still 'a work in progress'.

Its hard for people to grasp the fact that LD'ing is a real and trainable action.

Those that can, can relate.

I've learned a few tricks.

Look down at your hands in your dream...but don't move your actual hands.

Anytime in the dream you have that fleeting thought of "this is a dream" look down at the ground or your hands.

It takes practice but it can be done.

Now, I'm not saying I have complete control like Leonardo DiCaprio in Inception. But you can take over parts of a dream and be somewhat in control.

I tend to be like a rubber ball...where sometimes I settle down in the dream and then sometimes I just bounce randomly about.

But you will know when you have control, and thats about the time you lose control....when you first start.

Great advice, I'll try it. Most of the time, I'm almost sucked into that it will be a lucid dream, then something silly happens and I think "that isn't real", and pop!, awake.

i have lucid dreams. I have sleep apnea and a cpap, but I am awoken through out the night still by fascinating dreams.

The most lucid one I reported on this forum last week.

I felt it was a warming.

I saw the stock market literally fail, or fall.
All metals confisicated.
NWO puts into power a person.
This person through the fed reserve reissues a new money.
Everyone only gets small percent of what they trade in.
It is all digital.
All bills will be payed digital.
Money will be global.
You must have a card to get paid, to buy and sell.

But it starts with the the stock market ticker crashing and all the markets in the world going byby.

People will freak if it becomes real.

Re: Warrior Training - Vivid/Lucid Dreaming
thats great. I am also learning about lucid dreaming for couple years now as well.
I have had some of the most powerful amazing, enjoyable and frightening experiences with dreaming.
What do you think your dream means?
I just had a dream yesterday me and some guy were putting down a young white horse. I didn't know, i was just helping. we were choking it with a headlock, it wasn't workign so i wrapped a scarf aroudn its neck and we both pulled it tight. then it began to kick like panic an then as it started dieing I suddenly said I can't do this. Its too much. And I let go but it was too late, he was already dead. But I resussitated it by pressing its abdomen. and I guided it away, but it now had 2 broken bones and open skin on its throat....
Can you or anyone tell me what this could mean?
I have some ideas.

You are remembering dreams? Or are you actively interacting with your dream, knowing you are in a dream and able to make decisions?

There's one thing having vivid recollection of dreams, and another being able to consciously knowing you are in a dream and interacting and CHANGING the dream.

Great dream OP

Next up for you then may be the training on how to handle the demons that expose themselves.

You'll see a regular looking human then be alerted, then trained on how to deal with the demon that manifests.

You should do a follow up post when that happens.
