I just went to Carquest and they have Pennzoil Platinum oil (full synthetic) on sale for $3.99 (no rebate no adjoining purchase "nothing" just $3.99) Then they have in the store a $10 shell gas card rebate if you buy 5 quarts of that oil (Pennzoil Platinum @ $3.99 per quart) here is the rebate form for that deal. If you have a Carquest near your home this deal cant be beat "NEVER" final cost $1.99 per quart ! [link to www.pennzoil.com] But wait, as I will put the iceing on the cake. Fram oil/air filters is running a rebate if you buy 1 oil filter and 1 air filter together. I just went to walmart and bought a Fram oil filter and air filter for $16.00 they have a rebate for 4 dollars on the type I bought so now the rebate brings that oil & filter down to $12.00. Here is that rebate form [link to www.fram.com] Now my truck takes 5 quarts of oil so if we add all this up ! 5 quarts of oil (full synthetic Pennzoil Platinum) $10 1 Fram oil filter and 1 Fram air filter $12 $22 dollars for a oil change and air/oil filter-s anyone that changes their own oil knows this is an insane deal !! If I off roaded or had a high temp racecar or something I would more than likely use it. I made this post to address regular people with regular vehicles. Pennzoil Platinum tests very well with the other "regular synthetics" and if you use it for a everyday car or truck its fine. At $1.99 per quart for a full 100% synthetic oil is a steal. I bought 4 cases and 1 lose quart for a total of 25 quarts. Trying to help you oiltards !!
