Most of us are interested in the now. My goal is to get people to understand that the two factors are linked. Beyond that, I hope to get people to understand that there are four sexes, males with a right-brain dominance, males with a left-brain dominance, females with a right-brain dominance, and females with a left-brain dominance, and to understand transsexuals. If we could understand one another better there would be less fear and more tolerance, thus less violence directed toward those whose sexual orientation does not fit the pattern of the majority. I agree that hormonal balance is probably the first step in this sequence. As for whether sexual orientation or brain dominance comes first, it seems to me that brain dominance and sexual orientation are so closely linked that they might well be simultaneous rather than sequential. If you can provide references to support your understanding I would be interested in seeing it. |

Quoting: Jimmy Olson I did read a research report on this a few years ago, but I'm afraid I don't remember where. Either way, I agree it's not all that important if the chicken or the egg came first as it were. The important thing is, people are different, it's a natural occurrence and we should let everyone be what they are. It's not as if there's a shortage of breeders anyway! |
