Should We Vote? (By a Biblical Standpoint)
Should We Vote?

Hebrews 13:17 KJV

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

1 Peter 2:13-16 KJV

13) Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;

14) Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

15) For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

16) As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

Romans 13:1-5 KJV

1) Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

2) Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

3) For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

4) For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

5) Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

As it seems, many people misuse these verses to affirm that God commands us to vote. Well, as you can clearly see, there are some issues with that theory.

1) What year and what day was not voting decided to be against the law?

2) "3) For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:"

It is for this reason, that we have laws against reckless driving, drugs, DUI, killing, stealing, rape, child abuse, etc. All of which are against God. So, when God is telling us to obey the law, of course it's the things that He already has told us is evil. Not once are we told that not voting is against God. Lets use an example. Lets say that we had a new law that told us that having children is prohibited and that every unborn child must be killed. Are we then to obey the law although God told us not to kill? So then, it is all limited to the will of God.

Acts 5:29 KJV

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

3) Lets let have a good example of what happens when people choose man over God;

1 Samuel 8:1 And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel.

8:2 Now the name of his firstborn was Joel; and the name of his second, Abiah: they were judges in Beersheba.

8:3 And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment.

8:4 Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah,

8:5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.

8:6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD.

8:7 And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

8:8 According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.

8:9 Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.

8:10 And Samuel told all the words of the LORD unto the people that asked of him a king.

Do we not see Father's sadness in this? How would you feel? Instead of wanting Father to rule, they chose man instead. It is this very same thing people are doing, when they vote. They don't even stand up for God to rule, but man.

Proverbs 1:32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

Psalm 118:8-9 KJV

8) It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

9) It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

This is very true of course, giving the fact that these princes have not our best interests at heart and certainly do not adhere to God's laws. That's why they accept what He rejects and resort to killing and lying for power. How can we call ourselves "Christians" when we willingly vote for people who work for Satan? Does that make any sense to you? Again, look at what you're saying to Father. Father has allowed me to say this many times and I shall say it again. Voting never helps and never will help. Each president starts where the previous left off. It is these people who through Satan, will see to it, that we either die or end up worshipping the final Antichrist. So, I want to ask you this. Why are physical churches promoting these people, so that they may come to power? I'll tell you this, it definitely isn't because they don't know. They know full well of what they do.

4) Where does worship of man lead us? Here's where it'll lead us;

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 KJV

1) Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2) That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

3) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

5) Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6) And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7) For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12) That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Revelation 13:3-10 KJV

3) And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

4) And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

5) And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

6) And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

7) And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

8) And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

9) If any man have an ear, let him hear.

10) He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

5) Some people actually have hope that voting may change things. In this, their hope is in vain, because God hath already declared the ending from the beginning. Not once are we told, that we will have peace on this earth. Evil shall grow and grow and it will be absolutely incomparable to any other time in history. The only peace any man will have, is when Jesus returns for His people and for judgement. The reward for His friends shall be truly gracious;

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Also, keep these verses in mind;

Acts 17:31 KJV

Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Isaiah 14:24 KJV

The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:

We cannot change that which Father has already declared. So to conclude, not only is voting a shun against God, but it is practically useless as it holds no power nor authority over God's plan. The only thing that you can do, is perhaps change your outcome. World War 3 shall come. Earthquakes shall come. Famine shall come. Pestilence shall come. The strong delusion shall come. The Antichrist shall come, but death does not have to be your outcome.

Revelation 21:6 KJV

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Revelation 22:17 KJV

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Glory be to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!!!

7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
