It's clear to me that the two highlighted events above represent a way for the perpetrators of 9/11 to ingrain into the minds of witnesses to these things that it was ARABS.

Think about this: If you were truly an arab terrorist on a secret mission in the U.S., learning to fly and living for months in this country, you would lay as low as you could. Even if you weren't interested in taking off or landing the airplane, YOU WOULDN'T SAY THAT TO THE INSTRUCTOR! That's going to raise eyebrows (as it DID!....But again, FBI brass did nothing). And same with Atta and al-Shehi at the bar in south Florida talking loud, bragging, throwing money around, drinking alcohol, claiming to be pilots for American Airlines (which is the airplane that Atta is ALLEGED to have flown into the WTC 1 -- the North Tower -- AA#11).

It was clearly a psychological operation to put into the minds of witnesses (flight instructors, and servers and cocktail waitresses) oddities that stuck out that they would remember after 9/11, so they could verify the "official" story of 9/11 that our government put out (and with which our media obediently complied). "Oh my God! I remember that guy! He was a student of mine at flight school. I remember him saying that he only wanted to fly the plane and not take off or land. And I thought that was really weird." Of COURSE you did. That's the idea.
