There could be hundreds then. 101 + 1. The engravings translate to "This space intentionally left blank." The prayer is inscribed in an ancient script, rarely used today. It seems to be a philippic against small insects, absent-mindedness, and the picking up and dropping of small objects. The gate is open; through it you can see a desolation, with a pile of mangled bodies in one corner. Thousands of voices, lamenting some hideous fate, can be heard. The way through the gate is barred by evil spirits, who jeer at your attempts to pass. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17006327 Note that a significant character in Tom Wolfe's "A Man in Full" was a Zoroastrian, having adopted the philosophy while educating himself in prison. I'll have to look that one up. But for the ta'veren question - I do think that there are people that seem to be the equivalent. Whether it's the wheel deciding it or something else? I'm not sure. God Bless President TRUMP! It is a concept that the entire series revolves around, and the concept seems to be of masonic origins. But, yes, it is a fantasy series that I can see some obvious masonic influences within. Do you think it's a concept grounded in reality or just a fanciful idea the author used to make his story more interesting? Personally, I can see how the concept can relate to real world. From reading about the prophecies of this time, it definitely resonates strongly. That is why I brought up the fact that the author was masonic and was 'in the know'. Then, he expanded on the ideas and 'hid' them in his writings. The moshiach prophecy - and others - tie very strongly to the main character of the books, and seems to be written around the prophecies of Mosiach. The Nobody meme is an nearly an exact mirror to the main character's story. |

Could you explain that? TAMARA (Тамара). Originally Russian, but now in wide use. It is a form of biblical Tamar (q.v.), meaning "palm-tree." Sanskrit tamara means "spice." Also see Tammara, and Tamra. Usage: America, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Iran, Ireland, Macedonia, Poland, Russia, Yugoslavia. TAMARA. Latin. Probably the same as Etruscan Tamera (q.v.), a name that has been compared to Greek δάμαρ, meaning "wife" or "married woman." |

I am on the third book, the dragon re-born, and totally immersed in the work. I have great interest in the real history of humanity and this book paints a convincing symbolic picture. It is very powerful and I have felt it bound, enchanted with magick. It has struck me at a deep level as well as it being an interesting story. So it does not surprise me to consider that the author is an adept. |

You will probably get chills. I remember at the end of the third book what Mat said (and was thinking) to the women. If you don't roll on the floor laughing your ass off then you don't have a great sense of humor. Cheers and have fun reading. ;) The engravings translate to "This space intentionally left blank."
