I really think Jordan had some kind of access to higher something or other...

His idea of saidar and saidin... With one half of the source being tainted...

Mirrors the kabbalistic idea of the two pillars of positive and negative energy...

And how we are stuck on the negative side...

And how at the Super Bowl it was half light and half dark... They tried to make it all dark... But it failed...

The evil ones of this world are trying to cleanse the taint in their own fashion... But the taint is positive...

They showed us with the code in Sherlock Holmes 2... Everything is exact opposite...

And lanfears goal of challenging the creator himself... Knowing that the dark one is the temporal ruler of the planet...

And Jordan had these ideas before most of us even knew the federal reserve was a private corporation... And because these books had these hidden secrets revealed, they resonated with enough truth to get us to buy into the idea that rand and company were the good guys... They r the good guys for the bad guys is my new line of thinking...

Because I stand by my statement that there is something different about these books...

I mean mat, prolly the best character in the whole series, isn't even a good character for something like well over 2000 pages... Until the scene. In tar valon with. The quarter staff... IMO...

For me when they enter the Ariel waste and go to rhuidean... It is the pinnacle of fantasy literature...

Idk... Maybe they r just great books and nothing more...

It is strange how people stumble upon things and some see and others walk over diamonds like pebbles on a beach.

The first part of your post definitely sounds like a Ta'Veren.

The Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills, and we are only the thread of the Pattern........

The first few books were good but after that the series became cumbersome. It could have been wrapped up in a 5 book series instead of what is at now. The final book was not written by Jordan because he died.

Its a strange and weird feeling to suddenly realize that morally and spiritually the being which you are....has never changed.......and is STILL the same as when you were as a child....

To have searched all this 'time'....always reading and learning, striving without.......to suddenly know that all you wish to find was always within

Yes, The Wheel of Time. By Robert Jordan. By far the best epic novel I've ever read. In fact I've read it four times through.
It blows The Hobbit away easily.
