No.

The DHS is NOT designed to be a military, that is the issue.

The DHS is more akin to the FBI than the national guard.

If they were worried about invasion, they would be beefing up the actual military forces, including the guard.

Not Social Security offices or the National Weather Service.

If they were worried about an invasion, they'd be repairing our aging interstate system, as it was originally designed to aid in just such an event but by now is to bloated to do so.

So no. There actions don't seem to point towards gearing up for an invasion from elsewhere. Their actions point towards gearing up for a rebellion from within.

Now, that said, the reasons why vary.

Most likely one of two scenarios is at play.

A) They know that an immeninent collapse of our economy is about to hit, that when it does it will be worse than the great depression and it will result in anarchy in the streets when all the wal-marts close.

B) They know of an impending natural disaster on such a large scale, that the entire nation will be brought to its knees and as a result, the economy will collapse...
They can't tell us ahead of time because they aren't certain of the date and evacuations of that magnitude would be impossible anyways. Evacuating large amounts of people, would put even more strain on the economy and well..

See a pattern here?

They are prepping for the end of the dollar and the subsequent forced acceptance of a new form of currency. The reason for that hasn't been nailed down yet.

Fair enough... I was just rying to think of a less sinister reason for their gearing up is all. My mind cannot comprehend those who would willingly enslave and/or kill their own fellow countrymen. Is that not the highest form of treason?

Seriously... WTF?

I guess we can just take comfort in the knowledge that the people who do this will have to give an account of their actions to God himself.
