Are there any SAFE investments?

I mean, is there really any type of investment an American citizen can make that is SAFE from government seizure? According to what Im reading, 401k's may not be safe, precious metals stored in your own home may not be safe, a savings account/safe deposit box at the bank is probably not safe. Stocks are a joke is this economy (and always in my opinion,) and stashing cash away in a safe in my basement isn't earning me any interest. Is there really, truly any fool-proof way to save away for the future without the risk of having it messed with without my consent?

But if the property is too large, too much land, then yearly property taxes will be high, and the land will need to be farmed. Are you a farmer? It is a lot of work. Yes I have had many discussions and or arguments with quite a few people that I trust when it comes to finances, and the same answers keep coming up over and over again. They say to sink as much as you can into Depends, cuz when the markets tank you will have a high probability of shitting your pants ;) Seriously, trust in Jesus Christ and all is well.
