So how can we be naive enough to think our existance is finite?

Time is an illusion as the video shows it takes little for it to fade away.

our existance isn't finite. there is only one story, we just play different parts at different times.

Stephen King uses an interesting phrase in The Gunslinger series:

For it to be an infinite story it must be written in the stars. The stars are endless and we have yet to learn to bring that to this world.
