Quoting: getmeoutofhere Cattle herd vanishes in Devil's Triangle Peter Michael The Courier-Mail August 25, 2012 12:00AM Strathmore Station Station owner Scott Harris. Picture: Brian Cassey Source: News Limited OUTBACK police in Queensland's $3 billion beef industry are investigating one of the biggest cattle-duffing operations since the days of the Devil's Triangle and bushranger Captain Starlight. Cape York grazier Scott Harris, owner of the state's biggest single pastoral lease in the vast Strathmore Station near Croydon, had 860 head of prime bullocks stolen from his fattening blocks near Tambo three months ago. The station owner has posted a $100,000 reward to help solve the riddle of how nearly $1 million of stock vanished in a theft that would have required a handful of stockmen, dogs, and at least four road trains. That is the unexplained aspect of this. Quoting: getmeoutofhere They have trucks waiting normally. One guy lost 5000 just shorn sheep a few years ago. They knew what happened, but could do nothing once they were cut up and packaged. |

If people followed they would disapear too. I saw the lights once. very small orbs about 6 or so. But I didn't follow. that was west of townsville to mt isa and north through lankland downs to the cape. all the old bushman were freaked by the lights. |

It's a legit and interesting news story better than most of the stupid ass stuff posted on here. Cattle rustling is alive and well obviously, but how they got them out...maybe the local authorities were in on it if they can't "figger it out." |

No. Only by myself to get away from people. I like to hang out with the roo. But most towns in the north were just little bush towns when I was a kid, with proper aboriginals. (I mean no offence to anyone, but things were different then) Now too much booze and petrol and drugs and mistreatment. |

Queensland also has a very high number of reportings of UFO type activity. Not that it couldn't be theft, but these cattle are bloody big buggers, and 860 of them? that is a lot of trucks and a big job loading them. Just wondering still. |
