James Holmes saw three mental health professionals before shooting

(CBS News) Alleged Aurora, Colo, shooter James Holmes met with not one, but at least three mental health professionals [associated with student mental health services] at the University of Colorado prior to the massacre.

His name was brought to the attention of the university's Behavior Evaluation and Threat Assessment team or BETA for short.

University of Colorado campus police were contacted at least for a background check on Holmes, but what happened from there is not clear.

The university won't comment due to a judge's gag order.

Ridiculous. The university fucked up, pure and simple. The administration/bureaucracy, the mental health professionals, university police, everyone fucked up. This Holmes character gave ample warning and made multiple attempts to get help. Heads should roll [not just low level people], the school should face the mother of all class action lawsuits. The slow response among all those involved shows poor management at the school, everybody from professors/teachers, to the student mental health faculty, to the university police and mailroom.
