Breaking News! Did Akin Tell the Truth about how the GOP REALLY feel about Women? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 19228212 United States 08/20/2012 11:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Akin's remark was dripping with a lack of respect for women. That Romney would delegate his 'statement' about Akin's horrendous comment to a campaign aide speaks volumes about Romney's inability to understand the issues facing women, and his inability/unwillingness to even try to understand those issues. Quoting: journalist Does he sees women as second-class to men? He thinks that 'men know best'. It is impossible to think that he could adequately represent 50% of his constituency if he were elected. FACT IS, WHAT AKIN SAID IS ENTIRELY TRUE It's just that it is too politically-incorrect to talk about in today's Democrat-biased media-centric society. The Nazi's proved in experiments in the death camps that a women's body does indeed resist impregnation by rape. (the Clauman-Schumann experiments at Auschwitz). But, since that runs counter to the current ACCEPTED DEMOCRAT MEDIA TRUTH, you can't talk about it.That, and the fact that it came from equally politically-incorrect Nazi Death Camp Experiments. |

He's clearly stating what anti-abortionists think of women, i.e. they are chattel, beholden to their men, and worthless without one. Most Republicans are smarter than that. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 21591192 Canada 08/21/2012 12:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I suggest you query the republican war on women to see all the recent legislation they are trying to pass. Pay special attention to Arizona. If they have their way, an employee has a right to fire a woman for taking birth control. A doctor has a right to not inform a woman with existing health issues that her risky pregnancy can cause her death. The war is VERY real. There's much info on the net about it. They're recently been working real hard to redefine rape such that a woman who was unconscious is considered not raped and a 10 year old girl is not raped if it is an adult that acts. Look at Paul Ryan's record and the bills he has proposed. Don't listen to when they say they have "mispoken". Look at what they HAVE ALREADY TRIED TO TAKE ACTION ON.
