What if family bloodlines are a form of reincarnation. What I'm saying is, When a family member dies the soul of the read relative reincarnates into a new body of a future generation. Discuss.

Also baked.

As interesting as that would be, I simply don't believe in reincarnation. I can't suspend that much disbelief.

This could happen but it's not a concrete rule. If it's necessary to your evolution to reborn in the same family, then here you go. hf

Looks more like one life, that fragments as much as possible to experience as much as possible.

I mean think about those NDEs you here about and people go to "heaven" or wherever realm of existence and they say they meet there dead relatives. Why would the souls rejoin each other if they only had a bond when they were alive? I'm thinking that maybe souls have a family tree of sorts maybe?

Adding: that's what made me think that maybe different generations within the same bloodline could possibly be the reincarnation of said person. This is tripping me out haha

Because this life is just one of the many that we already lived and that we are going to live. Reincarnation is a fact my friend and the theory is out there since six thousands years ago.

There is also the question of does it matter.

If we cannot access past memories in a reliable manner. What difference does it make?

Are the humanity as a whole ready to acess past memories?

For example, how would you deal with the fact that your father killed you in a past experience? Or that your sister was your past wife and killed your three beloved sons?

The majority of us aren't ready to deal with this kind of experience.

Some tribes a of Alaskan Eskimos believe in reincarnation within the family unit, beliefs in reincarnation that are passed down for many thousands of years.

Of course it matters. Wed care a lot more about the one billion who go to bed hungry each night if we knew we could be born among them.

We care more about the way society allows children to be treated if we knew w would be children again.

Wed take better care of the planet if we knew we would be back.

But isn't one's 'soul' genderless? So in a soul's perspective, they are reincarnating for the experience right? So it could be different genders for different reasons? I'm asking.... hf

Yeah, our soul is genderless but this doesn't mean that we change our gender in the material plane constantly. This kind of subject is still a mistery to me, but according to what I studied, it's more probably that we are going to keep our gender in the next lifes here on earth.

I don't know, I'm no expert, but I think we chose to be who we are, which includes gender.
We probably could play different roles at different times if we wanted to.

Don't think this is that far out. The idea of soul groups works in a similar matter, if you want to do some research on that.

No. Unless we can retain the experiences of past lives, there is no difference.

Consider this: You dream every night. But if upon awakening, you cannot remember any of it, it would be as if you had never dreamt.

So if I will reincarnate upon death, I would of course desire to be reincarnated into someone who will have a happy life. But this desire will never be fulfilled regardless of the result of the reincarnation because the memory is lost.

Nonsense. If someone were manipulating you your entire life, and you weren't aware of it, you would still have spent your entire life being manipulated.

Re: Reincarnation: Im baked so bare with me; What if family bloodlines are a form of reincarnation?
I did a guided past life regression, like a guided meditation in a room with about 15 people. Then the weeks after I had done it I started having dreams which I see things of past lives.
I've had about a dozen dreams about things to do with past lives.

But relating to our question, my father is from Germany, and on his mothers side, my grandmother, they had relatives with the Last name Munchenburg. I had a dream of a tall man with brown suit, something from 1800's early 1900's I suppose. and I saw a brown book spine with the name Munchenburg on it an cant rememeber what else it said, and I had written it, as I seemed to have been someone who wrote, like a professor or lecturer or something. It was a thick book.
So I think I was one of my ancestors.

I also had a past life dream of my father and His new wife I think! So I guess they had been in a relationship before too!
I saw a man which looked like him, veryy similar dressed in like green Shakespearean clothing, and his wife in Long black hair and a green dress an many people aroudn them all laughing and having a good time, as if it was a celebration of maybe their wedding? And I saw a fat man who was showing off and his accomplice who was younger, the fat man tried to dance with my father to distract him, and the younger man took my fathers wife away!

It was weird how I understood what was happening. I wonder if I was there? some say that past life events can carry over into this lifetime. and I think this happening to my dad affects him today lol.. poor dad.

 Quoting: DreamWarrior

With a skilled hypnotherapist I did a past life regression and another session that was a review of my life between lives.

Both sessions left me physically exhausted, much like jet lag, yet remarkable in a sense that I remembered those lives and can recall them today. Speaking only for myself my observation is that existence in the physical form is much like college course work, and once we complete the life "or course" we move on.

Several medical anomolies that I had experienced in this life were hold overs from past lives. Two of them cleared and I haven't been bothered with them sense. One was a chest pain caused by begin lanced with an arrow from a past life.

Today, I have as much interest in my past lives as I do in remembering old courses that I completed in college. I couldn't be where I am today without haveing completed them, and I wouldn't want to relive any of them. The life between lives was the most revealing of the sessions and answered questions that I hadn't thought of.

Comparitively speaking, our physical lives are relatively short, and I just take it all "one day at a time". I don't get wrapped up in problems. I've given up having an opinion, but remain observant, I stay in a state of gratitude, and I spread as much love around as is humanly posssible.

I had an opportunity to peer into future lives but passed on the it. I want them to be a surprise.
