The value in this, the GLP forum, to me at least is for people all over the world to be able to post their observations, pictures, evidence, whatever, where it can be seen without, (hopefully), the censorship of the authorities that slant things to thier advantage. I do not appreciate people telling me what it is that others are seeing or HOW I should think, but I realize that we should all be free to speak, and so I am patient. But I have NO faith in authority, not anymore. They have an agenda and it does not have MY well being in it's objectives. NASA used to be interesting, but I thought that their new mission was to make our muslem brothers feel better about themselves. Perhaps they should stick to that plan. I looked through my solar filter of my telescope (not attached to scope) and could clearly see the sun only. I put my cell phone up to it and saw this object or what the hell ever. It didn't move with the movement of the filter in relation to the sun as the obvious lens flares did. It did however have a lensing effect if I tilted the camera's lens in relation to the filter. On a side note the object wasn't there at all when filming without the solar filter in front of the camera. The sun was about 10x diameter without the filter so it led me to believe the object was being washed out by the excess light. If it was a filter flare or lens flare I would like to know why it behaved the way it when moving the filter vs moving the camera alone. |
