Craigslist flagging is going to give me a nervous breakdown
I am fed up with my competition instantly flagging any item I put for sale, I dont know what to do anymore. Craigslist was one of my main sources of income, I follow craigist guide lines, I dont spam, I dont overpost, I dont post anything illegal. I know its my competition flagging my posts within minutes becuase they made a comment on one of their posts refering to my business.

I cant sell anything anymore, I have tried using a different title, name, number, body, and have even tried just using a photo that has my info. They instantly flag it.

It takes me forvever to write a full description of my item since their all unique and then for it to get flagged right way.

Is there any solutions to prevent my posts from getting flagged that easily.

I had even myself tried to find some sort of craigslist flagging software to flag thier posts and hopefully annoy them to where we can come to an aggreement to stop flagging each others posts. Well i had no luck in finding any such software, i just came accross alot of info that they do work. Anyone ever used one.

Im out of ideas and loosing money, i dont know what to do.

Maybe you could try contacting someone over at CL and explain your situation?
Flagging has become the name of the game at CL, competition is fierce it is over saturated with all the Craigslist CPA/affiliate marketing courses out there.

craigslist will ban folks who maliciously flag. complain and appeal each flagging, inform them about the malicious nature of the flagging up front, and the ""competition" will very soon either stop flagging, or become "reader only" on CL. CL will also cooperate in legal action against malicious posters

I like flagging apartment listings that use the words "luxury" or "home" in their title when in reality all they are listing is an overpriced roach infested dump

thats called harassment and is also taking away your business

if you know who they are - contact CL's, Police, and your lawyer

they want to play dirty online crap

hand it right back - the legal way

they will back off

Hate to tell you but the flagging and spamming issues on craigslist have been going on for so many years it's ridiculus. Do a few web searches on keywords like "why did my craigslist ad get flagged" and adjust the search settings to only show results that are several years old and you'll see the problem has been around almost the entire time craigslist has existed. I've personally sent in complaints to craigslist about my legit postings being flagged (even took the time to skim throu their TOU for one ad) and never got a response, a week later I gave up and said fuck craigslist. The only time they respond is when you have a lawyer doing the talking for you. Ya you won't make as much money but if you're spending all day fighting malicious flaggers and people spam the same ad 10-50 times a day then maybe you should find other avenues to get your ads out. Craigslist isn't going to change or they would have done it years and years ago.

Re: Craigslist flagging is going to give me a nervous breakdown
the raleigh boyz are the most experienced flaggers on CL...
CL could give a rats ass about people posting in the free sections. Your problem is you may have too much pink on your account making it very easy for someone to flag you..

tip

Make a new account and post in a way not to get attention like on R&R...R&R was made for idiots and it is a good place to build a green account. Let it age and add a few post daily, you will look like a good guy to the CL filter system and your competitors will have to spend a lot of effort flagging you.

Build a few accounts and reboot your modem to change your IP.

Re: Craigslist flagging is going to give me a nervous breakdown
Is there a forum where everyone helps each other out by putting a list of the links these spammers put on craigslist? then we all can clik the Prohibited or Spam button? I own a company in New York and there is a business who puts up about 100 ads a day. He's really sneaky, he'll put ads up with different prices for the same service, steals pictures and wording from other companies. He's such a shady character and is really nasty when you confront him about it.slaphim

It's not necessarily malicious flaggers.

CL itself is notorious for flagging like crazy. Right now they've got their robots cranking all the way up to Level 10 Asshole, and they are flagging everything.

I've been tearing apart my posts for weeks now trying to figure out what it is I'm doing that could be causing it, but there is no cause. It's just CL.

You are EXACTLY right. I went on fiverr.com. Paid a few bucks a few times in a row and had a few fiverr people flagging the shit outta my competitor.

The ads were removed in MINUTES!!!

Whatever their software is that they came up with works so damn well that I am developing my own as we friggin speak with a software developer.

Its expensive and Im sure there will be a few bugs but i will run it on my own ads then sell the shit out of it.

Until now my competitor was posting 10-20 ads a day. Thats just ridiculous. And flagging mine as soon as they posted.

Well I have him so paranoid now his autoposting software is collecting dust.

FLAG FLAG FLAG!! Who gives a shit about ethics....its craigslist!!!!....ITS FREE!!!! WHO GIVES A FK!!!

Flag eat Flag!! LETS PLAY!! There is too much money on the table and being a single mother...my babies have to eat so as long as im not harming anyone I will continue to flag my competitor everytime his postings go over 4 in a day

Its actually pretty funny but thats what his ass gets. Flag me and I'm coming for you!!wtf

Re: Craigslist flagging is going to give me a nervous breakdown
Actually, this happened to me for three months straight.
It cost our business about $5,000 in lost sales, so I got MAD.

Then, I hired computer science kids at the local college to find a way to keep my Craigslist ads online.

They DID it, and it's all in my best-selling ebook.
"Fifteen Secrets that STOP Craigslist Flaggers!"

I have FREE info for you on my website, so go grab your free report and get cracking.

[link to StopCraigslistFlaggers.info]

Thousands of copies sold.
It really makes a difference.

+ Doug
PS It's dirt cheap, but worth all the peace of mind in the world when it comes to fighting back at Craigslist.

The Raleigh Boyz developed a system that fools the CL flag counter. It is more than a software program that sends 1000s of flags in seconds confusing the CL flagger into removing post. Last year the boyz remove 1000s of post in the raleigh personals in minutes.
