Why have you let that thread die? don't care anymore? fucking moran. people go missing all the fucking time. pinning threads about them on an international websit is so fucking useless, simply self-serving Quoting: curlytail2000 That was then, this is now.... Is this some kind of competition? Ideally, we can save them all! |

Even if they can't put out a missing person on him, they can contact SAR (search and rescue). Most SAR only work after being contacted by law enforcement. It takes them time to set up, plot a grid and assign, so the sooner they're on it, the better. Quoting: Nine's Maybe Mom could suggest SAR to the local law. There is a group Southwest Panhandle Search and Rescue that works through law enforcement. Another group that works through LE is ESAR.... Escambia Search and Rescue, but they will also respond to private citizen requests. Their number is 850-474-1644. Nine's that was great info for her Thank you. After seeing the area, it might not be very helpful though. It would be a real hard area to search with the combination of hard and soft terrain, distractions, and so much to foul his track. Add to that the heat, hot asphalt, and it would be a miserable search even if the dogs had boots. After dark, if David gets scared, would be the ideal time. Sad for him to be scared but great for the dogs finding him. They pick up and track that scent so easily. They might not be able to do it, but I'd put my money on the dogs in the worst conditions over humans in best conditions. I wonder if they have the automated calling system there, that alerts people to things going on or to keep an eye out for something. There looked to be a lot of out buildings, junk cars, even a u haul place with many containers that he could get into but may have a problem getting out of. People could be notified to check their buildings and cars. And all that water. It would be nice if all the people surrounding it could be notified. |

I made that comment when the 2 Iowa sisters went missing and Got tons of abuse. They been found yet? No more GLP threads about them either. And this too shall pass. But I hope you all feel better about yourselves when you post your silly silly little crying face icons. Doesn't help the child or their family at all. Quoting: curlytail2000 The Iowa girls are presumed to be safe at this point. Nothing to do but let LE do their thing. With David, there is something to do. Any missing person, particularly a child, who is missing, is special. For David, he has the body of a man but the mental functioning of a child. When people see a young man with David's build, nearing a dangerous situation, they aren't as likely to get involved if they don't know his mental age. If someone did talk to him and weren't able to understand him, they could easily think he's on drugs, mentally ill, or other not so favorable impressions. People could be scared of him, scaring him even more. He needs help. Any vulnerable person needing help is special and if we can't do anything from afar, we can hope for the best and empathize with him and those who love him. |

I checked his chart and could well be he is unable to get out of a structure or even an junked appliance or car trunk. I don't think he is victim of a crime, more of a self curiousity jam he got into. Git them dogs! |

I remember that school was kinda scary back then. Kids would bring guns to school sometimes. I haven't been there in decades. I hope its gotten better, for his sake. I will be praying for him! |

Here is the website: [link to www.topix.com] I would also email the News Herald newspaper for Panama city to make them aware of the situation. Maybe they will offer to help get the news out about him missing. Here is their website: [link to www.newsherald.com] There are also plenty of other news sources that can be contacted down there. A really good description is of utmost importance. Flyers can be used too. If His head is still bald, I would go with the picture of him with no hair, so people will know if they see him. Again, I hope all goes well!!! Last Edited by AGENT_P on 08/04/2012 08:00 PM |

By the way, the Iowa girls are still missing; they are NOT presumed safe, and there has not been a peep about them either in the news or on GLP since July 16th. Nobody praying for them or their families anymore......old news, huh? Free speech is never free. Well I know it wasn't you who held me down Heaven knows it wasn't you who set me free So often times it happens that we live our lives in chains And we never even know we have the key - Eagles |

There's more to the case than is published and they are working on it and will find them. Maybe "alive" would have been a better choice of words. "We believe these girls are alive and we are not discouraged by the passage of time since their disappearance," FBI spokeswoman Sandy Breault told reporters in Evansdale, Iowa. She declined to discuss exactly what evidence investigators might have that pushed them toward that conclusion. Breault said she believes someone knows something, and she urged anyone with information to step forward. [link to articles.cnn.com] I think LE has a handle on this one, but if you have some idea how we can be helpful, clue us in. |
