Lava Fire burns in Central Oregon

yep, be smellin it soon enough...

In order for this to happen there has to have been an eruption right. So whatg erupted?

There's lot's of old effusive type volcanoes over there, dutchsince keep saying they are steaming or something lol. But anyway with the weather you guys have being having I expect it's a wild fire. If it was lava there would be no firefighters there. It would be a waste of time.

first link says lightning started the lava fire. wtf? are they just making up shit off the top of their heads now? news everywhere, but all exclude telling where this lava is coming from, except from lightning. wtf again

It's been called a lava fire because it's burning on old lava bed according to this.

what is up with the names of these fires? There is a fire Burning in Riverside Co California that started today named the Volcno fire and Oregon Lava fire??? are they btrying to tell us something????

I remember last winter i thought it was weird .
It was 32 degrees, the water everywhere was frozen, except the water on the ground was just water.

might have been in the 20's , but it was the coldest few days we had last winter.

There is a lava tube nearby this fire that has an ice flow in it. Imagine in the heat of summer, you find ice in the desert.
