Need some GLP help and yes this has everything to do about race

Hey first time post but former insurance agent.

Immediately you would be due the medical payments on what liability policy the owner (not homeowner, they don't live there) should have. Acceptance of this money in no way prevents you from filing for your losses above the medical payments.

Someone said that rottweilers are somehow excluded. That is not able to be be done to my knowledge. Never issuing the policy in the first place would be their course of action if they knew of dangerous pets. They are on the hook know, plus the owner will get his policy cancelled on renewal and have a hard time to place elsewhere.

Sounds like he deserves it. Nothing at all to keep you from going after the dog owner too.

But remember one thing do not bring race into it, it will make you look stupid, the issue is a dangerous animal period next time it could be some kid or some old person this is a danger to the community period the animal and do call animal control you want the dogs contained by them to see if they gave rabies otherwise you may need rabie shots.

First let me say most Blacks are terrible dog owners.

Ok so I drive to do an errand and when I come back home (I own) 20 minutes later (Left car gate open) there are two rotwilders that belong to my neighbor in my yard.

There btw have been numerous reports to police and anilmal control about the dogs who have escaped their yard over 15 times in the past year and chased people.

I get out of my car in my property and the two dogs attack me biting me a total of 8 times (Bite wounds to left arm, left leg, and back)

Sherrifs come to the scene with fire dept. and the black owner of the dogs put his dogs in the house and refuse to open the door to police and says animal control would be there shortly....I tell them that it should be considerd assault with a dangerous weapon because the dogs attacked me in my own property but they said its now anilmal controls job....Arrghhh!!! Aimal control comes and says they cannot do anything because the dogs are inside....I tell him this has happened countless times he shows up and the dogs are in the house but now they have attack me...Nothing....Fire dept wants to take me in ambulance but I drive instead to my provider.


So my thing is can I go after the homeowners who rent the house section 8 to these people since they know about the numerous complaints about the dogs from another of their tenants or do I go after the blacks who will not pay a dime no matter what happens????

Something called a 'One bite law' kinda like if your (owner) dog bites someone, or has been documented to be aggressive then you're aware of the dog being aggressive, and must take means to protect other dogs and people from it.

My little dog was attacked by the same pit bull dog twice.. and yeah the owner of the pit paid all that second 1000.00 dollar vet bill.. sorry about that happening to you, very traumatic... Hold both the owner of the house, and dogs responsible..
Shouldn't be a race thing though.. owner of the pit was white guy about 60 years old, owned a nice home all that.

Why is it a 'race thing?'
