Oh I will have a good night loser. And wake up to months of glorious sunshine while you're sat teeth rotting under a cloud filled sky.

Ah, personal insults in place of intelligent rebuttal.

I guess I can declare victory now then. Excellent.

I don't know if the NHS scene symbolized anything other than that the whole ceremony was really, really stupid and dull.

OP,

The symbolism is all intentional, IMHO. The 'darkness' was the overall feature....

I agree, the "feel" of the whole thing was no mistake and the events contents will have been overseen by a large group of influential people, Danny Boyle wasn't told "do whatever you want" which is even more worrying.

Anyone familiar with phages and bacterial bio threats will not miss the connection I make, the similarity to the biological mechanisms involved is staggering.

Anyway, I'm sick of arguing with you.

I'm going now, you can have the last word and win, perhaps then you might get a semi and bang the missus or something.

Goodbye.

Thing is he may be wrong but you'll always be Spanish.

I doubt this guy's Spanish.

Way too good on the colloquial English.

He's probably an Essex crim on the run!

I just worked it out.

The sick children in the bed are paraded around and then the big grim reaper tries to come and collect with his minions.

But they are staved off by lots of Mary Poppins with black umbrellas.

Notice those umbrellas all have bright white balls around the periphery, quite odd don't you think? If it was just for safety then you would think they would be colour matched to the umbrella, but no, in fact they are the most visible thing on the entire Mary Poppins characters, WHY?

Well those Mary Poppins character represent BacterioPhages:

The scene was clearly divulging something about BioTechnology, for what reason we can only speculate?
 Quoting: BIOWAR 20621275

The balls were lit up so we could actually see the umbrellas, doy. If they were colour matched to the umbrellas they would have been black.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15900479

Well can you give me a better explanation as to why multiple Mary poppins were swarming the grim reaper and his minions protecting the children from death?

Please,I'm all ears, what was the writer trying to convey there?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20621275

It's to represent the fact that everyone deserves free health care and that without that health care they could have died of their illness... It represents that even poor families have the right to free healthcare, It shows how the free healthcare is fighting illness and death. How retarded do you have to be not to understand something so simple... Are you an american living in spain ? since it's usually ameritards that cant understand shit and need it all spelling out for them...

BACTERIOPHAGE

We have a phage therapy clinic in Tbilisi, and you can buy phages for various treatments over the counter. They've used phages for many years in Georgia and they've been trying to commercialise it for a long time - without much success until recently, but I'm not sure I trust the doctors here to tell you the truth about whether it actually works as well as billed - it's not in their own selfish interests to do so. In some cases I'm sure it does but I think in many people it works as a good placebo - same way people believe in the magnetic sand and magic mud therapies which jostle for your hard earned dollars here.

Hopefully that's what the American military researchers who work at the big new US-funded and Bechtel-built Bio lab in Tbilisi are working on, for the benefit of all mankind?

The Black Mary-Poppins are symbols of the Black-Madonna's gathering the children [of the New -NWO- Dawn] under their Umbrella's ... remember that one of the theme's was HEALTH CARE and Technological Evolution > which stands for genetically engineered VIRUSES in order to control.

Make notion that the Olympic stadium was build upon a nuclear-wast dump-site and was slightly radioactive !!!

At the moment I saw the Opening Ceremony and the 7 chimney's with their polutive smoke, I thought that it might have been/could have been possible that that smoke contained viruses or bacteria which would react with the level of radioactivity on the site ...

The Grim Reaper [PHARMA] would collect his money and dieing souls as time would have done its work.

The fact that the lights on the Umbrella's were BLUE is also in line with many of the symbolism used.

Please take notion of my thread in which many is explained:
Thread: Symbols and leads used in the Olympics of 2012 connecting with events now

Many details are important !

Fact is that Rihanna's song "Under my umbrella" was a hit !

Even the conception and birth of the New Child -The Royal Baby- was portrayed and foretold in symbols.

Re: London Olympic Ceremony - NHS Hospital Bed Scene Explained
Mary Poppins wasn't even a british film, it was produced by Walt Disney and starred US actors.

Aside from that, choosing to put thousands of hospital beds full of sick kids into the show is a strange choice that needs more explaining than "that's just what they did"

It was not beffiting to an Olympic opening ceremony and was obviously conveying some sick message.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20621275

Who said anything about the film? The book was written in England by an Australian emigre and the whole sequence was about children's literature as I already said.

The kids in the beds weren't actually sick y'know. Half of the beds were trampolines for goodness sake. It was meant as a tribute to the NHS (which is an important aspect of British history), along with the dancing doctors and nurses, and the beds then doubled as messages and the kids were reading under the covers.

So yeah yeah fine 'I don't understand it so therefore it must be a Satanic message'. Heard it all before from you guys.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15900479

NHS may be important to british folk, but remember this was a globally broadcast event. Nobody else even knows what N.H.S. even stands for!?

It was Britain bragging about its bioweapon prowess.

The olympics have finally been milatirised by good ol' Blighty. Who would have thought! LOL
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20621275

NHS also stands for :
Natural Human Serum

non- water-soluble

N-hydroxysuccinimide
- FILAMENTOUS BACTERIOPHAGES AS THE BASIS OF NANOWIRES AND OTHER MATERIALS surfaces with unmodified phages N-hydroxysuccinimide
- Filamentous phage can be cross-linked to make a hydrophilic aggregate that is pelleted by ... NHS, N-hydroxysuccinimide; NHS–dextran,
