El Hierro earthquake activity lifting and deforming Canary Islands
While looking at the earthquake news from around the world, I noticed that El Hierro on the canary islands has been very active, so active that is lifting the Canary Islands. Hundreds of earthquakes have been documented and the island residents are ready to evacuate at moments notice.

The renewed seismic activity on the island of El Hierro since the 24th of June has now deformed the island by up to 6 centimetres horizontally and up to 7.5 centimetres vertically, according to data transferred by the IGN to the direction of Civil Protection Plan Volcanic Risk.

Since the earthquakes recommenced there have been over 750 earthquakes on El Hierro.

I find it strange that not one of those 750 or more earthquakes are logged on the USGS earthquake map. Not one single earthquake is shown.

If El Hierro erupts and large parts of that island slams into the ocean, it could cause a mega tsunami wave that could be really really large headed right for the east coast.
More frightening for the approximately 10,000 residents is the fact that a bulge has developed in the island, lifting it five centimetres in four days. Whereas the volcanic activity of 2011 was based out at sea, this time the magma appears to be forming right underneath the island and the pressure is building.

Re: El Hierro earthquake activity lifting and deforming Canary Islands
Good Thread op. The USGS is covering up alot it seems these days. If we were shown the big picture I think everyone would shit. I for one would like to know and think we have the right to know. This is big. If this goes there will be alot of dead people and alot of destruction. If I lived on the East Coast I for one would be moving NOW.

I am on the gulf coast and surely it would be effected especially if it displaced enough water to cause a tsunami 1000 ft high like predicted. I do have a place to go that is over 1000 feet in elevation but some might not be so lucky.

Yes, my place is over 250 miles inland, Hill country.

I dont know if this is of any significance but I noticed in searching this subject that the daily paul had a post about this very subject than the posters account was suspended.

All this is old news now and why do we need another El Hierro thread when Idgits one is established and ongoing, all the information above is posted on his thread and was posted weeks ago.

Merci, While I think the information you have posted is important and valuable, I feel combined efforts on his thread would be more beneficial. You may or may not of seen Idgits thread on this (Can't miss it, it's been pinned that much) but there is a search box at the top which if putting El Hierro in would come up with many threads on the subject. I am not having a go but I feel all relevant information, especially concerning the Canary Islands and the future possible doom there be better in one place.

As for the Earthquakes, USGS only list earthquakes over a certain magnitude. If you were to go directly to IGN website, you can easily find all the earthquakes you have mentioned, in fact, there is a link on Volcanocafe which brings up all the earthquakes since the start of the activity last year, including all the lower magnitude ones.

Here is a link to Volcanocafe and a post that explains all the so called missing quacks, very informative..:

Volcanocafe Homepage:
[link to volcanocafe.wordpress.com]

Merci, if your actually worried about the situation in El Hierro, the guys on Volcanocafe are great and some are qualified experts in the subject. If El Hierro had a little heart murmur, guaranteed you will hear it there first. There are many experts working round the clock that watch a hell of a lot of data from Volcanos all around the world and will point out if anything is out of place.

P.s. At the moment, El Hierro is Calm, nothing seems to be happening. There is a odd quake every so often but the activity has calmed down a lot since the other week. It's all just a watching game now as to what happens in the future, something or nothing may happen....

Follow Volcanocafe (even interact if you want) and also follow Idgits thread here: Thread: Best El Hierro Thread On GLP - Canary Islands - ACTIVITY HAS RETURNED - AGAIN!

Volcanocafe & Idgits thread is the only things you need for up to date information as and when it comes out.....but at the moment, it's slow slow slow.....

Although I do try to get on here often I do not make it on everyday or even every other day so I must of missed the threads that the AC is speaking.

I agree, that it is monotonous and tiring to wade through pages and pages of old stuff.

I love your coined term asshattery. hf

Got to go for now. peace

PS AC thanks for taking the time to add the additional information. It is very appreciated even though it came with a reprimand and a hand spank. Ouch! LOL

Re: El Hierro earthquake activity lifting and deforming Canary Islands
Sure Volcano cafe pays attention to things. There are guys on that site who also make it their job to downplay shit also ( shills ) just like on GLP. Yes we all know usgs only posts earthquakes of greater than 2.5 but usgs also does not always post events bigger than that and has been known to drop even bigger ones or omit them altogether. Why would we want it left to ONE PERSON only to post about El Heirro. Sure its quiet now, could just be calm before the storm too. There's things on this post that are not on that one.Its a free world and the more information thats out there the better things will be.

Who's expecting anybody to wade through hundreds of pages, not me or Idgits or anyone else.....

I am simply saying, search for the subject using search, note the longest thread and click on the last page for the latest updates on the situation, it ain't that hard, or if the OP like Idgits updates his first post on page 1 even better, at least the OP of that thread is giving the latest information out as it happens...

Also, If your logged in then it ain't that tedious to keep up with the thread, GLP does the hard work for you and bookmarks the last page you read.

If people are genuinely worried about the situation in El Hierro, then having the information in one place rather than have it spread over a number of threads is a lot better. For peace of mind, I certainly would at least read the last 10 pages on a thread like that to keep myself updated on the current situation. I mean, something like El Hierro erupting, causing a deadly Tsunami is possible, it has happened before and COULD happen again. Having the OP constantly updating the thread and having others posting information when it comes out is a potential life saver, that is why all information, wether new or old should be directed to a well established thread, that way, everyone who is following that thread already (Which is many) has the chance of saving themselves should that event happen....

About to be off but I just looked at the thread Ac suggested and it is from AUG 2011 almost a year old.

Are you serious we must post everything on a year old thread?

GLP has outside Thread Police now?

Goodness gracious that is OLD. I dont think I will comply, no hard feelings though. hf

Merci, I didn't mean it to come across as giving you a reprimand or hard spank.....hf

The situation in El Hierro is potentially a dangerous one, not just for the residents but also across the oceans. A Tsunami has happened and could happen again....

I hate going through pages and pages of a thread to catch up on things myself so what I do is go through at least the last 10 pages to catch up, that way, I know what the current situation is. Reading a thread like that could potentially save most if not all our lifes should an event like that happen (fingers crossed it won't).

TBH, some of the links you have posted I have not read, but a lot of the information on them has been posted already, of course, if you don't follow Idgits thread then you wouldn't of known that, so I give you credit for posting the information again.

What a AC said before about more threads the more information, in a way that is true, however, I would prefer to go through a whole 300 pages than to search for the information through 20+ so threads.

When you want a update on the current situation, would you rather click on the last few pages of Idgits thread or wade through many other threads? Remember, new threads disappear quick and some don't get bumped, while a well established thread (which is CONSTANTLY updated) will get bumped often, by people updating on the current situation or by people asking what the current situation is...

Yes, I do think you should post there, Why?? Because that thread is still alive and will be every time there is new activity at El herro.

Of course it started Aug 2011, that's because El Hierro started the activity back then with thousands of eqs, there was an eruption and everything which calmed down and the other week it started again...If you were a avid follower of El hierro, you would know all this.....

At the moment, the thread is 346 pages, if you were to read say the last 10 pages, you will see the thread is still active and has been constantly updated....

That thread (during hightened activity) has never been really of the front page. Couple of weeks ago, it got pinned at least 3 times in one day due to the new earthquake activity.

It's up to you Merci, carry on with your thread, but to be honest, it will fall back into the dungeon like all the other threads that have been posted on the subject....that's why I say post in that thread so that the many who are already following that thread get the information they need and want......

This is why the search button is valuable, people should REALLY use the great feature, you can see all the other threads that fall into the dungeon..Here's some recent one's.....You can go through all these....

Thread: Coca Cola Joins El Hierro Government To Cover-up Volcanic Danger **They are starting to hide the data**

Thread: <<BREAKING>> EL Hierro Volcano Earthquake 5.2 About to Happen

Thread: FALSE FLAG JULY 4th? Or something else? EL HIERRO? East Coast?

Thread: El Hierro is bulging and ready to blow. Please read and for those on the east coast...stay alert!

Thread: El Hierro in the Canaries has BULGED !!!

Thread: little help here with a El Hierro energy chart

Thread: El Hierro Volcano Mag 3.1 Quake, Harmonic Tremors Detected, New Vent May Have Opened, Eruption Webcam Taken Down

Thread: El Hierro Swarm Starts Over 18 Earthquakes Already Today

and there are many more, seriously, try the search button, you will be amazed how many El Hierro threads go into the dungeons and never re surface. This is why I say post any new or old information in a well established ACTIVE thread, that way, you are not using your energy writing a new thread and posting in that new thread just for it to go into the dungeons....

Your energy will be better spent posting in a well established thread, or if it's only 5 mins of fame trying to get a pin, then so be it, but it will still drop into the dungeons, and most likely, any new information posted in these threads will then disappear, then the many followers of the established thread may not see the new information, that could cost lives.....

I personally am not arsed how many threads people post on just the one subject, but when it comes to a situation like this whereby MANY people could potentially lose there lifes if a Tsunami was to happen, then it does gets me a little angry, why, because on a important subject like this, I would prefer to go to the one thread, that's constantly updated with any new news, that way, I don't have to spend 15mins + looking through new threads trying to get updates.

All information regarding El Hierro is important, threads like these disappear, Idgits thread doesn't as it's saved as my favourite when I'm logged in, 2 clicks and I get the latest information, plus it's constantly updated with new information as and when it comes through.....

I am done with this thread, Merci, I am a nice person really, I don't mean to offend, I just get little angry when people post new or old information without doing a search, I'm sorry if I offended you, but subjects like this are important to me, why, because I don't like to see people dying or suffering, the situation in El Hierro, be it calm at the moment, has the potential to wipe out millions of people should the worst happen.....I am just thinking about human life at the end of the day, even the lunatics and kiddies on here, I don't want them to suffer or die. MANY follow Idgits thread and I just feel that many of them will not see new information when new threads are posted and end up in the dungeons......

Dude, I'm not trying to put anyone off posting. Keep going you say, prove me wrong that this thread won't end up in the dungeons soon. Will it reach over 300 pages???

The information posted above has ALREADY been posted on Idgits thread and several others. A shill is someone who gives mis information or directs people away from the subject, How can I be a Shill if I've posted information and links to another thread that has the same information as above Laugh dumbfuck

As for the 365 pages of that thread, who the fuck is asking you to read them all...

HINT: YOU CLICK ON THE LAST FEW PAGES TO SEE THE LATEST UPDATES

YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ ALL 365 PAGES LOL

AC, Don't follow that thread then when the shit starts again, you make sure you dig this out of the dungeons and see how many updates this gets, believe me, you will be the first to fucking drown for your stupidity......

Re: El Hierro earthquake activity lifting and deforming Canary Islands

I've already predicted that El Hierro would go off (with help) during the Olympics. a mega tsunami will flood London.

Ouch! LOL

Nothing wrong with me.....

I just care about FUCKING human life at the end of the day. I don't give a shit about people posting loads of threads on just the one subject, but when the subject could wipe out MILLIONS of humans, that's a different story...

If people on GLP also care about human life, then they will agree with me.........

Listen, I live on the east coast of Canada if a 1000 foot tsunami hits me and everyone I know is dead meat. More than one thread on something that might potentially kill me and everyone I know doesn't really seem all that excessive to me.

Methinks you need to back away from the keyboard, go outside and get some fresh air.

Because, when this thread first appeared, it made me go hmmmm, new information is it, so I clicked on it, read some of the links and realized that some of the information on them are nearly a month old, not only that, the information had already been posted.....

The reason for carrying on in this thread, is because of trying to get my point across, any information with regards to a BIG possible event happening like this should be all bundled together in one place, not spread over 20+ threads.....

The OP's time and effort (if she is serious about El Hierro) would be better spent on a well established thread. TBH, after a little look at OP's and Anne's previous threads & replies (By the great search option), it's looks like their time & effort would be better spent on the lightworkers & Christian threads as yes, there Christards. You see, it's amazing what you can find out on using ADV Search and their user IDs....

If OP is serious about this thread then I hope more information will be posted by OP, not just post and run like she has done already. I hope she posts interesting facts, information, all the earthquakes to come and warnings in the future. Can you really see this happening?? I don't think so, that's why she should of used search, see what threads were out there already on the subject and just post the information there just in case it hasn't been posted....

Any, bed time for me, had my say, OP, good luck and I hope to be seeing PLENTY of information coming from you in the future.....

Of course, dude, if a fucking 1000 foot tsunami was already on it's way to us, of course we would want to see about 50 threads saying that the tsunamis coming NOW, knowing what GLP is like, we would get the warning before the MSM warn us. The point of everything I've been saying is, the information or other stuff leading up to the Tsunami event would be better posting in one thread, that way everyone can follow what's going on simpler than going through 20+ threads. My other point being 'Use the bleeding search feature', that's what it's there for....
