But, my friend has a friend that works at Allen Canning Co. in NW Arkansas. He said that they canned the last of the green beans in the US this week. Adleast the last that they will receive. Although when I said that my friend was pretty serious about it being the last in the US. No, this guy isn't a 'doomer'. We have had conversations in the past about World events and such. But, no 'doomer' stuff. To err on the side of caution; my Husband and I went and stocked up on some goods. The items we got today were canned in April. On the 11th to be exact!
