Flashes in the night skies!!!
Ive been seeing theses flashes in the night skies for a very long time now. Thought I would come on here and post to get opinions. I've tried to explain them but cant. They happen even when there is no cme hitting Earth. I was just outside watching them again and looked on the radar for cloud cover but there is none and usually never is... so I decided to Google "flashes in the night sky" and found out I'm not alone..it is happening all over the world. Its as if someone is taking a picture with a flash from space and it lights up the whole sky for a split second. Its always white flashes...I thought maybe upper atmospheric disruptions but I'm leaning to no because of the frequency of events and the multitude of people witnessing this...does anyone else see them or does anyone have an explanation or theory for them?

I've been getting woken up in the middle of the night quite often by bright flashes coming in thru the blinds.

I've gotten up a few times to see if it was lightning but its always clear skies.

Make you wonder........

For several years I've seen them. Even in the daytime with clear blue skies. I thought it was just ME !!! LOL

The flashes are so fast, it's like impossible to comprehend - did I really just see a flash of light??????? Very quick.

This just blows my mind. Thanks for posting.

Me too. Late in night/early morning. I will have my eyes closed trying to get to sleep and see the bright flashes through my lids like my room just lit up.

After going threw Google and some forums and just barely scratching the surface...its amazing how long this has been going on and how many people have seen them around the world. I'm really curious what they are from and why they are not getting much attention. Thanks for your comments! =)

Re: Flashes in the night skies!!!
I've kept quiet about this as well because I've never seen anyone talk about it. I see this every single night!

I live in London so most small flashes can be explained by landing lights from planes. The thing is the big flashes light up almost half the visible sky to me, impossible for a plane to light up such a vast distance.

I have been seeing flashes and fast white streaks.
I saw a strange well all I can describe it as a vortex like thing on the ground.
Also been seeing static squares.

Happened again this morning, around 3 am. 2 really bright flashes. My windows face the south, so the direction was from the south.

Can anyone else give a specific direction?

From what i saw, the flashes are concentrated, almost like someone is taking a picture from the sky with a bright flash.

Mine were south west but there again it seems to fill most of the night sky for a split second.
