I would appreicate your insight. thank you
 Quoting: lois lane 2833324

I don't usually discuss 'famous lifetimes' because they don't often carry major life lessons for the famous person. Also, those souls who do famous lifetimes typically work out the remnants of that lifetime pretty swiftly--life has a sharp learning curve against the outcomes of those things.

However, in this case, I must to make an exception...

You are in a cell. It's not really a prison cell as we future folk would know it, more like a monk's cell. Sparse, with a single window you can see out of only if you climb onto the bed.

Part of your true heresy is burning outside that window. The stench of burning flesh mingle with the musty odor of dust and mildew inside the tiny cell.

Your great heresy wasn't disbelief. It was sharing that disbelief with too many people. You hoped for death, for you feared aging... but your true regret floated in the window as ash...

Some of your students are being burned. 'They' [the gov] knew that just killing you would not punish you. They knew that no amount of torture of your self would break your heart...

But your students. Your poor students. That, and that alone, could deeply break your heart, and the stench of their misery and their cries cannot be blocked out.

When they come with the poison, it is a relief. You escape the true torture outside your window, knowing that they will stop now. Having made their point, once your death has come, there will be no more point to their atrocity.

You drink it and you lie down. Your muscles grow weak at first, and you feel light-headed, almost peaceful. Tingles and then numbness fall over your body, creeping across your face. Eventually though, your lungs cease to function, and you begin to die of asphyxiation. You can't even struggle, and it is a horrifying and miserable death, screaming inside the sealed vault of your mind.

At last it is over.

If you have not already done so in this life, Socrates, I invite you to begin teaching again. It will be a great balm to your soul, for 'heresy' is the engine of the future, and without someone to teach it, there can be no one to learn it.

It's a bit like 'remote viewing', I suppose. But my ability to see the future comes usually as dreams. Sometimes as intuition, and often as [vague] direct communication.

For example, I know that we were intended for destruction, but because humanity [unexpectedly] Graduated, Earth will not be destroyed.

Seeing the sheer level of readjustment this is taking would stagger most people.

Re: That Which Once Was: Past Lives
would love to hear from you.
 Quoting: fonez4u

You stand at the edge of a forest. Behind you is the cool darkness of the woods, and ahead of you lies a verdant valley. Filled with yellow and purple flowers, it is your tribe's idea of a "promised land".

But you warn them that something isn't right here. Beneath you, you feel rumblings deep within the Great Mother [Earth]. The others find these rumblings comforting, but for you, they evoke an ancient memory that you can't explain or express--for you are a child.

You walk forward with your family, clinging to your father and begging him to turn back. Finally, infuriated, he takes you back to the woods and beats you so badly that you can barely stumble in his wake.

The tribe stops here in this stunningly beautiful place in California with a great mountain above you, covered in dark clouds. This is Mammoth Mountain [in current time], and during this time, it is awakening. Yet none of you know it, for these things are not part of what your tribe has ever known.

So you settle here, building your small village and beginning the work of creating a life there.

Yet it is only a couple of months before the Great Mother rumbles again, and this time, death rains from above and burning 'water' sloshes across the land.

You cry and scream, trying to drag your mother from the burning bed as the teepee burns around you. A simple mat on the floor, it is still impossible for you to drag your mother from it.

Your father comes, dragging her out of the bed and throwing her over his shoulder. Gripping you by the hand, he half drags and half leads you away, leaving everything behind.

Sobbing, you scream at him that you tried to tell him. He backhands you into a fire accidentally. The fire begins to consume you, leaving you burned horrifically. Your father picks you up and runs, staggering with the combined weight.

None of you make it, but you have learned your lesson... don't say anything.

I invite you to speak your truth with grace and courage. I invite you to stand up to the fears within you that demand that you be silent in the face of... everything. I invite you to let go of fears and hiding. Even the hiding you sometimes do behind words.

Your truth is yours, and it is okay to speak. It's important to be heard, to feel heard, and to know that what you say is important and true, no matter how it's received.

Well, sort of, I suppose. As two people have asked now.

Consider hypothetically that 6 billion years ago, a large celestial body was set into motion in order to strike Earth and put an end to the experiment. What do you think it would take to derail such a monstrosity from its intended path 6 billion years later?

The Universe is a finely balanced place, and stopping a scheduled catastrophe means shifting multitudes of other things. Think butterfly effect...

If you shift the motion of this celestial body, then other celestial bodies will be effected. If it is destroyed, other things it is destined to do will not be accomplished. If it's just 'shifted to another track', then the 'track' must be created, and then shifted back to its correct trajectory.

I say that this is hypothetical because it's oversimplified by this to the degree of absurdity.

I am only shown a collision, and that it has been 'derailed' because that which was to collide would have carried on for other purposes... so it must be 'derailed' and then put back onto the trajectory it would have altered to...

Complexities within complexities... how do you explain them??

Hello Sandi! I would love to know of my past lives as well. Also, have my husband and I incarnated together many times?

I hope you have a great day and thank you for all of your amazing work!! hf
 Quoting: Jilly23

Your instincts about you and your husband are partially right. You have certainly incarnated together many times, but most of those times have been as direct challenges to each other. You are lovers in this lifetime because both of you have struck at each other so many times in the past that it was simply the right time to be able to show each other love in 'the right way' so to speak.

He has killed you and you have killed him. You indeed spent a lifetime as a criminal whom he pursued relentlessly, to the point where he drove you even deeper into criminal behavior... while he was engaged in corruption himself... very fascinating scenarios that the two of you have played out together/against/with each other.

You have both been significant help to each other through these... for you have both gained tremendous karma and have shifted much of it. Others may look at you and say that you 'have it easy', but what they don't realize is where you've been [on a soul level in various past lives]. The two of you have transmuted some of the worst, most violent experiences together.

One would think that you would come to hate each other, but the opposite is true. For the person willing to play the 'villain' to your 'hero' is a person who has given you a gift [as hard as that is to see]. None of us want to play the villain [unless he's super cool??]... yet for there to be a hero, there must be... the other.

Your love for each other is the more profound for all that you've put each other through. Now you may love one another with much greater freedom and depth, because there's not much left to do to each other otherwise. :p

* * * *

Vienna, Austria. You are here to see a play. The theatre around you is massive and gilded. Brilliant lights bring the stage to life, and there are others packed in around you.

Your fan floats peacefully in front of your face. Although it is winter, it is boiling hot in here. You sit quietly as a few more people file in. Being of the wealthier classes, you are closer to the stage so that you can see well.

When the fire breaks out, you are pushed and jostled. Your father grabs your arm and drags you towards an exit as the lights go out. Panic and terror are all around you, and you fear the bite of fire on your skin.

But it isn't that which kills you in this stuffy, suffocating press of people... someone leaps from the burning balcony above and lands on you. Another lands on him, and the press of the crowd becomes literal... more people land on you, screaming as their bones break.

Your father is trying to drag you out, but the crowd is too full, the people pressing in on you too much...

You suffocate trying to escape the crowd as bodies and blood press in upon you. You never know the kiss of flame, but you die nonetheless.

I invite you to understand that not every crowd brings death with it, dear one. I invite you to realize that crowds don't necessarily mean panic.

I agree, they should be wary, because it's totally unrealistic that traumatic deaths are the ones that leave an impact like social phobia, fear of heights, fear of dying, fear of losing control, fear of tight spaces, etc.

It's totally unrealistic to think that the past life residuals people want to overcome and leave behind could be brought on by trauma.

Dying peacefully of old age in your sleep after a fantastic life is FAR more likely to result in phobias than these traumatic deaths. That's a no-brainer!

I swear that some people will find any excuse they can conjure up to try to demonize the ability to see past lives, since they want to deny it no matter how stupid their protestations are.

Re: That Which Once Was: Past Lives
What can you tell about mine?
 Quoting: Just A Thought

Cold fire. That's really the only way that you can describe the sensation in your extremities. The creeping agony burns through you like flame, yet it is death on the wings of the arctic winds.

It's Mt. Everest, and you are on an expedition to the top. You are with a group who believes that God lives there... almost like it's Mt. Olympus, except monotheistic.

You lay now in a tent while all around you, wind howls and screams and night encroaches. You pushed too hard when you should have asked to stop. You pushed your body harder, harder, harder. You demanded more of it, you ignored its cries for succor.

Now, cold fire burns through you. You are wracked by a raging fever. Your toes and fingers are black--the certain sign that they must be amputated. The agony is unspeakable, the most horrific torture you've endured [in this life].

The wind screams against the tent, the icy snow clacking against it with small 'tick tick'ing noises. Delirium comes, bringing nightmarish visions with it.

The howling wind is filled with spectres of the night. The scraping snow striking the tent is its claws, seeking entry. Virulent pests swell from the ground, gnawing, gnawing, gnawing at your feet and hands.

Forever comes and goes as you are in and out of awareness; never lucid.

So you die haunted by the scraping of 'teeth' that never touch you. You die surrounded by the scratching of hideous beasts that are never there. You die hunted by spectres of death and malice that pursue forever without striking...

I invite you to realize that not everything is what it seems like. I invite you to seek within for peace, not for spectres and delusions. The truth is there for the taking, but first you must recognize that it is your own mind which most easily confuses you... because you use it to seek the spectres.

Seek first truth. Seek first hope. Seek that reason to live...

For when you seek spectres and reasons for misery, it is these that ye MUST find. It is The Law.

Look for what you do want, not what you don't... simple enough, but difficult to put into practice.

Re: That Which Once Was: Past Lives
Okay, before I head to bed for the night, I wanted to bring something up. I know it sounds initially off topic, but this is the appropriate place and time to bring it up. A lot of people have been having interactions lately with bats, and there's a reason why.

If you're one of those who is finding yourself constantly in this place with bats, please take a look at this page, and see if there aren't some surprising and profound messages for you from our bat friends.

[link to www.whats-your-sign.com]

[here's a short excerpt, much more at the link]

The Native American animal symbolism of the bat comes from a keen observation of this magnificent animal. These people recognized that the bat was highly sensitive to their surroundings and so therefore was considered a symbol of intuition, dreaming and vision. This made the bat a powerful symbol for Native American shamans and medicine people. Often the spirit of the bat would be invoked when special energy was needed, like "night-sight" which is the ability to see through illusion or ambiguity and dive straight to the truth of matters.

It is a symbol of communication because the Native Americans observed the bat to be a highly social creature. Indeed, the bat has strong family ties. They are very nurturing, exhibiting verbal communication, touching, and sensitivity to members of their group.

Re: That Which Once Was: Past Lives
for me and my daughter, please?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19487579

You are old and wizened now. When you were young, you left family and kin in order to become a monk. You had been raised to believe that the monks were a force for good in the world, and you wanted to be that... so you joined their ranks.

You chose a life of service, and you felt as if you had given everything of yourself. You cared for the sick, you visited the aging, you often worked your fingers to the bone.

You had been made a promise, and you had worked your entire life through for that promise.

Now, you are old and dying, and you find yourself furious. You gave everything, and yet you are dying. You were supposed to ascend. You weren't supposed to die.

You swore that in the next lifetime, you would do it. You would perform enough service that you would ascend. But at the same time, you questioned in your heart if ascension was real.

I invite you to remember, dear one, that an empty cup quenches no thirst. A dead land gives no life. When you give of yourself until you are empty and hollow, you have naught left to offer. There isn't an escape from this life, and spiritually speaking, you wouldn't take it if there was! For the ultimate purpose of this life is love... but the quality of the love you give is determined not by how much you sacrifice, but by the true conviction that lies behind it.

Sometimes, we give when our heart knows that all we're giving is an empty cup. It's hard to give 'tough love', but sometimes a splash of water to the face brings more hope than that empty cup that ultimately supports the behavior that brought the other person suffering.

Giving at all costs is not always loving... not towards yourself, or towards the other person. And no amount of giving will take you to paradise, because love does not always express exclusively as giving.

for me and my daughter, please?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19487579

My dear, before we speak of your daughter's past lives, there is a much more direct and immediate issue that must be addressed. No amount of past life work will help her right now, because there is something wrong with her health. How is she eating? Does she get enough exercise?

When is the last time you took her to see a doctor?

I don't want to be alarmist, and I could just be misreading something, but when I tune into her energy, it looks like something is killing her. A physical issue; and my first consideration is to ask you, with gentle love, if she is overweight? I have been surrounded by overweight people for the last few days, so I could be entangling their energy with hers.

Whatever is going on physically, it is serious business, and she needs assistance. Coming from me, this is a big deal, too, because I am generally anti-mainstream-medicine.

That being said, I do not want to alarm you. If she isn't overweight, then I need to re-read her.

Re: That Which Once Was: Past Lives
Thank you very much! No, my 12-year-old daughter isn't overweight, but she is often tired and can't do as many physical things as she'd like. I attributed that to Saturn hovering on her ascendant for the last two years - it actually left her ascendant yesterday. Also, she was getting sick almost every weekend and holiday a year before that - a sore throat and fever. I took her to a doctor then, who didn't do blood work but attributed it to an allergy and prescribed an anti-histamine. I was willing to give her a few benadryls, but they were worthless. In desperation, I asked a psychic who said it was temporary, but she was allergic to artificial colors and flavorings in sodas and sweets. That was it! I was hoping that her tiredness was due to the assault on her immune system from the allergy and all those episodes of getting sick. Oh, I thought this was all on the way out! I will take her for blood work, but is there any more specific you can tell me since she isn't overweight?

And I'm sure you were right about my having been a monk and furious I didn't ascend.

Thank you.

It is dietary, and it is pressing. Please ask them to check for juvenile diabetes, if for no reason but to rule it out--if it's SLIGHTLY OFF, then please put her on a strict 'diabetic' diet. I am not sure that's the problem, but there's definitely a dietary issue and it's serious. She isn't just tired, she's exhausted. There is something going on with her, and you need to press the issue until it's found. Allergies may exist, but they aren't the central issue.

How much milk does she drink? Does she get enough sun?

You need to start doing some research on proper nutrition from a non-standard perspective. She needs help. There is little from a past life perspective that she needs... she more requires some kind of medical intervention and some serious dietary changes.

Whatever it is, and perhaps the psychic is right and it's allergies, it's a very serious matter. I'm not trying to alarm you, but I do want you to know that this is not something you can continue to put off. You need to shake yourself up and get really serious about this.

Whether it's candida or some other parasite, or diabetes [pre-diabetes], whatever, it requires action now before it becomes irreversibly damaging.

Just for her...

I have always been attracted to bats (and spiders) and never knew why until I found this info years ago! I decorate my home with them and incorporate them in to my jewelry designs as well. There are many out there that are drawn to them as well...hf

It would not be helpful to her at this time. I know it's disappointing, but it would draw her focus into somewhere it doesn't need to go.

However, I do have something else to offer to her:

Before you were born, you were lying in the arms of God. God asked you, "Are you ready?" You looked up and smiled.

"I am ready."

"It's going to be a rough one," God said to you gently.

"I know," you answered, quiet, low, and soft. "But I am ready. I can do this."

"I am proud of you, my beloved," God told you. You felt the gentle sweep of love all around you; the kiss of God.

"I'll miss you," you whispered softly. If you had eyes yet, there would have been tears, but instead your Song swelled with tenderness and love, singing into the cosmos, straight to the heart of God.

In answer, God's Song replied with great love, singing notes your human ears will never hear, showing you colors that human eyes will never see.

You floated for eternity on that soft bed of love, before turning and leaning into the wind. As you leaned into the wind, you found yourself floating in another sort of love...

Here was your mother, all around you, protecting you, nourishing you, giving you life. Still afloat in love, you danced the cosmic dance of wonder. Magic was afoot!

When the travail of birth began, you cried out, though there was none to hear it. This was new, this was frightening! From beyond that fear, you heard the echo of the song of God. Your mother's voice, the sound of her heart, the magic of her body all around you reassured you, and at last you were out.

As your eyes took their first glimpse of light, and your ears heard the first words spoken to you, beyond it all you felt the Presence of the Divine.

You are never separate from that which loves you most, dear one. You are always embraced by the Presence of the Divine. You are precious beyond words, and your entry into the limitations of Earth was attended by angels. The place that babies are birthed is a sacred place, and that moment of entry into this world is magic.

Welcome to Earth, honored one. You have much to do here. Do not be afraid, for you are the future of our world. Step forward in courage, grace, and dignity. Your soul is forever safe, and there is only one place to go... Home.

Do the work here. You came out of love. Stay out of love. You are a singular gift to this world.
