Obama has had four years to keep us safe. We're less safe now than even during the Clinton years, even though Bush-era policies and intel helped Obama bag Osama. On the other hand, Clinton LOATHED the military and shrunk it for a so-called Peace Dividend that Clinton shit away on more welfare programs. The 7 months that Bush had before 9/11 is not enough to un-do 8 years of Clinton's disarming of the military, except for Slick Willie's "wag-the-dog" incidences like when he attacked Yugoslavia. Don't forget that Bill Clinton fought Yugoslavia without the full permission of NATO and a large majority of House Republicans voted against both non-binding resolutions expressing approval for American involvement in the NATO mission.
